In this book, I open my heart to you and tell you about my experience with abuse, the wounds it left, and the healing that has taken place within me. For a long time, I did not understand why I had experienced life as I did, until I could see there was a purpose behind the pain. I turned that pain into my teacher, and it led me to discover who I really am and the reason for which I was created. You can also heal the wounds that abuse has caused you and live free from the ties of destructive thoughts. When God thought of you and me, He already had a great plan for our lives.
