'Natural and Artificial Sewage Treatment' is a scientific text based on the research carried out by Alfred Stowell Jones and H. Alfred Roechling in 1902. It is an examination of the different methods of treatment of sewage available at the time. The book compares what are considered natural methods of sewage disposal, including planting of sewage gardens, and what are the artificial methods used. The goal of the book is to examine the pros and cons of either methods and act as a guide to those in the sewer disposal industry.
