This is a story about a little lost bird who runs away from one town to another, and ends up bringing both towns together. He helps to break down their barriers with kindness and love. This book is an inspiration to everyone, with all our individual "special needs," for our needs do not necessarily show on the outside. Many are hidden on the inside, locked away with a thrown-away, invisible key. This is a journey about the despair of being lost, alone, afraid, and rejected, because of our differences. It shows that running away to find a new home, and love and hope from strangers doesn't work, because we soon realize that we are all the same. It is a journey of love, and how one little town wanted to help save Never's "No One's Town." Try, the little snail, who with one foot, was the glue that kept everyone together, because he never gave up! It is a journey of love, hope, and prayer, through faith, which brought two towns together through the most terrible storm in history. It shows what love, caring, and prayer can conquer when people come together to help each other. In the end, we learn that all people are the same. We are all tender, and we all need love. It shows how compassion and innocence can break through fear and mistrust.
