The life and times of Beatrice Garcia is a truly fascinating and enthralling tale of the triumphs over adversities and hardships by this woman of faith. You can see how her trust in God made all the difference in the world to her and to her family. As the wife of a Pastor, her dedication to God, family, and the Church, is an inspiration to me and those who love her. I believe that those who do well only for themselves are remembered while they live, but those that do well for others achieve immortality. Ruben R. Garcia While books of the rich and famous, the creators and innovators, the movers and the shakers are numerous, there can never be a sweeter book to me, than the one that tells the story of my mother. This book captures the memories and resilience of a woman who kept the faith and that even to this day at age 96, continues to find strength and a reason to rejoice in the Lord Jesus Christ every day. Elizabeth Martin The story of Beatrice Garcia is an interesting and inspiring book. As you read her story you see the name of Jesus written in every event of her life. Her hardships and joys helped me realize that happiness does not come from material possessions but from the love and joy that God freely gives. My mother’s life has truly been an inspiration to me, her friends and family. She is a true model of a virtuous Christian woman, strong in faith and full of wisdom and love. Alice Landeros
Hi all, This is Shreeja. This is my first book and I'm super excited and happy about it. The thought of getting my poems published dates back to September, 2023, where many people advised and encouraged me to get all my poems published. Finally, I see that vision of mine turning into a reality. So here is a compilation of all the poems I have written in the span of 3 years. Different themes, different words and different emotions.. Whenever I get free from my daily schedule I pick my pen and diary and put my thoughts in the form of a poem. All these poems are some emotion of mine. Some of these are inspired by the one and only- Taylor Swift. Sometimes listening to her music wakened up the thoughts in my head and inspired me to write. This book is truly dedicated to my parents and brother, they are my biggest supporters and my strength. I love you guys the most. Also special thanks to my best friend Gaurvi. She and my parents are the first readers of my poems in their raw forms. To Parnika for encouraging me to get my book published and being the sweetest person on the planet for helping me throughout the process. Truly indebted to Gyanvriksha Publications for their support. And to the four most craziest and awesome people who helped me to choose a name for the book. And yes, Shourya (my brother) for clicking all the BTS pictures. And lastly to each and everyone of you who is deciding to read this book. I love you all so so much.
Twenty year old, Allison Slater has been in love with her brother's bandmate, Rhys McGowan, since she was thirteen years old. But to him, she'll always be Jake's little sister and off limits. Now a college sophomore and licking her wounds from a bad breakup, she sets her sights on making Rhys see her as someone he could date...maybe even love. Her opportunity comes when Rhys visits his parents in Savannah where she is attending college. But the night she's dreamed of turns to heart-break, and she realizes she'll never be the one for Rhys. For Rhys McGowan, his nightmare began when he woke up, naked and hung-over, next to his bandmate's little sister. Unable to remember a thing from the previous night, he only makes matters worse by lying to Allison about not being interested in her. The truth is he's spent the last year to ignore his body's reaction whenever Allison is around. His resolve is tested when Allison comes on tour with Runaway Train, as both Jake and Abby's nanny and to fulfill her fashion design internship. The more time he spends with her in the close quarters of the bus, the harder it is for him to resist. Will Rhys realize that having a relationship with Allison is worth fighting for even if it means that he has to fight his best friend for a chance?

Celebrating the twentieth anniversary of the King-Cat zine Never before have so few lines conveyed such a wealth of meaning as in John Porcellino’s quietly riveting book about memory, relationships, and selfhood. During a period of isolation following a divorce, Porcellino penned Map of My Heart, endowing it with the sensitivity and emotional depth so characteristic to his minimalist style. His tender drawings and spacious panels shape an autobiographical testimony where no moment is too small or insignificant for posterity. Pensive walks in the forest, encounters with rogue woodland creatures, school yard fights, Zen meditations, long lost crushes, and childhood exploits are the heart of this therapeutic account of the ever-fleeting present.
From motherhood, to mourning a lost love to finding a lost life, the poems range across emotions, free and fluid. Romance and regrets, love and lust, family and freedom - nothing is spared. A collection of poems that speak of, to and for women. Seasons Of My Heart. Raw. Real. Visceral. And rare.

Life is beautiful and all we need is to let our thoughts and feelings grow. Everyone has been encountered with love, happiness, joy and few days of sadness, depression and disorientation. The book is all about the experience of life from our teenage to adulthood, compiled in short poems. It takes you back to those romantic moments you shared with a special person. Everyone or it would be more appropriate to say, each girl has her own world of fantasy and dreams. My poems will reveal few of them. What might be the situation, we just need to keep going and never ever stop thinking. And that’s how our thoughts will make us rise.
First published in Marathi in 1966, this unique novella in free verse tells an age-old story: that of a woman’s deep desire to be a mother. Setting out life as a game in which the moves are predetermined, and yet where rules exist only to be twisted, perhaps negotiated, sometimes even changed, Anuradha Vaidya deftly engages the reader in a sort of play, suggesting a joining of the dots, a connecting of line endings that lead the reader deeper into the story. As the story traces a relationship that begins with unquestioning love that, over time, transforms into tension and distance, the reader is encouraged to linger, or jump back and forth across stanzas and lines, to navigate, interpret, and savour the beauty of the expression, both in the turn of phrase and the coinage of new words. The sheer beauty of the almost allegorical imagery of life as a game played on the worldly board by people who are actually pawns, marks every page of this poetic narrative. Published by Zubaan.
