The Packet is an all-inclusive curriculum based on the five areas of a percussionist's foundation: Rhythm, Chops, Rudiments, Mallets (2 & 4) and Drumset.
Provides information on ways to use Wireshark to capture and analyze packets, covering such topics as building customized capture and display filters, graphing traffic patterns, and building statistics and reports.

For use in schools and libraries only. Prince Henrik makes a plan to find a wife who is nothing like his royal brother's wife, who he thinks is too sensitive.
Twelve-year-old Ben Aronbach doesn't fit in anywhere. In his small town in the 1980s, he's a Jew among Christian Afrikaners; among Jews, he's the boy from a family of lapsed shul-goers. But when he meets Leo Fein, he thinks he's found his place. Fein, however, has designs on Ben's mother and her modest fortune. As the end of apartheid approaches, Ben is thrust among political fugitives and right-wing extremists in an attempt to save his family and find redemption for his part in their downfall.
Complete and comprehensive coverage of packet switching concepts and technologies The rapid growth of Internet traffic has spurred a new concentration on IP routers and ATM, MPLS, and optical switches. This book addresses the basics, theory, architectures, and technologies for implementing ATM switches and IP routers. It focuses on the architecture for the next generation of broadband switches and routers and provides detailed treatment of both theoretical and practical topics for professionals and students alike. Broadband Packet Switching Technologies is written with engineers and industry researchers in mind. It describes the basic concepts and fundamentals of ATM switches and IP routers, then divides the switches into different categories. In each category, the authors discuss the operations, problems, strengths, and weaknesses of the switches in performance and implementation. Detailed solutions and algorithms are also provided. The authors also extend fundamental packet-switching concepts to wireless and fiber-optic networks. Broadband Packet Switching Technologies fills the need for a textbook and reference dedicated to high-speed networking technologies that serves the specific needs of professionals in the telecommunications industry and provides expert material for students in related fields.
Take an in-depth tour of core Internet protocols and learn how they work together to move data packets from one network to another. With this updated edition, you’ll dive into the aspects of each protocol, including operation basics and security risks, and learn the function of network hardware such as switches and routers. New chapters examine the transmission control protocol (TCP) and user datagram protocol in detail. Ideal for beginning network engineers, each chapter in this book includes a set of review questions, as well as practical, hands-on lab exercises. You’ll explore topics including: Basic network architecture: how protocols and functions fit together The structure and operation of the Ethernet protocol TCP/IP protocol fields, operations, and addressing used for networks The address resolution process in a typical IPv4 network Switches, access points, routers, and components that process packets TCP details, including packet content and client-server packet flow How the Internet Control Message Protocol provides error messages during network operations How network mask (subnetting) helps determine the network The operation, structure, and common uses of the user datagram protocol
This book introduces different interconnection networks applied to different systems. Interconnection networks are used to communicate processing units in a multi-processor system, routers in communication networks, and servers in data centers. Queuing techniques are applied to interconnection networks to support a higher utilization of resources. There are different queuing strategies, and these determine not only the performance of the interconnection network, but also the set of requirements to make them work effectively and their cost. Routing algorithms are used to find routes to destinations and directions in what information travels. Additional properties, such as avoiding deadlocks and congestion, are sought. Effective routing algorithms need to be paired up with these networks. The book will introduce the most relevant interconnection networks, queuing strategies, and routing algorithm. It discusses their properties and how these leverage the performance of the whole interconnection system. In addition, the book covers additional topics for memory management and congestion avoidance, used to extract higher performance from the interconnection network.
