A study of the single-family-residence real-estate market in Omaha, between 1950 and 1960. Seeks to determine (1) which factors best explain variations in salability of houses and (2) which factors best measure the condition of the real estate market at any time. Variables analyzed include: style or type of house; type of construction (brick, frame, etc.); number of rooms; age; listed price; location. Criteria applied in determining salability include: percentage of listed houses sold time lapse between listing and sale; sale price; and percentage that sale price is of list price.
