'The Lunar Bull: About the Spiritual Significance of Matriarchy (Scholarly Articles, Vol. 9), 2015' is a study that outlines the present debate about the dichotomy of matriarchy-patriarchy. On the level of the collective unconscious, the study demonstrates, the historical transition from matriarchy to patriarchy has not taken place. In the contrary, it appears that the intrinsic symbolism of the soul level, the content of the unconscious, the level of spiritual visions is one of the matriarchal gods and cosmic energy holders, such as the mythic or lunar bull, and the serpent. This is not just a matter of mythology. The impact and vibration of our soul values permeates all living and is influencing our decisions and our policies more than any reductionist concepts, such as moralism, child protection or the present international pursuits to fight pedophilia that render us conscious of a growing narcissism that today affects not only individuals and political leaders, but whole nations. What we can learn from studying mythology, as this study shows, is to find solutions that are viable and durable because they are integrated in the landscape of soul, and our collective unconscious, and not just green table solutions that may appeal to our rational mind. The book comes with an extensive Glossary and a Bibliography.
Using werewolves and Wernher von Braun, Stonehenge and the sex lives of sea corals, aboriginal myths, and an Anglican bishop in this new book, the author weaves variegated information into a glimpse of Earth's closest celestial neighbor, whose mere presence inspires us to wonder what might be out there. Going beyond the discoveries of contemporary science, he presents a cultural assessment of our complex relationship with Earth's lifeless, rocky satellite. As well as offering an engaging perspective on such age old questions as "What would Earth be like without the moon?" he surveys the moon's mythical and religious significance and provokes existential soul searching through a lunar lens, inquiring, "Forty years ago, the first man put his footprint on the moon. Will we continue to use it as the screen onto which we cast our hopes and fears?" Drawing on materials from different cultures and epochs, he walks readers down a moonlit path illuminated by more than seventy-five vintage photographs and illustrations. From scientific discussions of the moon's origins and its chronobiological effects on the mating and feeding habits of animals to an illuminating interpretation of Bishop Francis Godwin's 1638 novel The Man in the Moone, his interdisciplinary explorations recast a familiar object in an original light.
Astronomy and Astrophysics Abstracts, which has appeared in semi-annual volumes since 1969, is de voted to the recording, summarizing and indexing of astronomical publications throughout the world. It is prepared under the auspices of the International Astronomical Union (according to a resolution adopted at the 14th General Assembly in 1970). Astronomy and Astrophysics Abstracts aims to present a comprehensive documentation of literature in all fields of astronomy and astrophysics. Every effort will be made to ensure that the average time interval between the date of receipt of the original literature and publication of the abstracts will not exceed eight months. This time interval is near to that achieved by monthly abstracting journals, com pared to which our system of accumulating abstracts for about six months offers the advantage of greater convenience for the user. Volume 18 contains literature published in 1976 and received before March 1, 1977; some older liter ature which was received late and which is not recorded in earlier volumes is also included.
The unvarying essential meanings of around 1,000 symbols and symbolic themes commonly found in the art, literature and thought of all cultures through the ages are clarified.
Physics and Astronomy of the Moon focuses on the application of principles of physics in the study of the moon, including perturbations, equations, light scattering, and photometry. The selection first offers information on the motion of the moon in space and libration of the moon. Topics include Hill's equations of motion, non-solar perturbations, improved lunar ephemeris, optical and physical libration of the moon, and adjustment of heliometric observations of the moon's libration. The text then elaborates on the dynamics of the earth-moon system, photometry of the moon, and polarization of moonlight. The publication explains lunar eclipses and the topography of the moon. Discussions focus on the photometric model of eclipses, brightness of the solar elementary ring, effects of light scattering, photometry of lunar eclipses, and determination of altitudes on the moon. The text then evaluates the interpretation of lunar craters, luminescence of the lunar surface, and the origin and history of the moon. The selection is a dependable reference for physicists and astronomers interested in the application of principles of physics in the study of the moon.

"Praise to the Moon" presents each moon phase, exploring its inherent qualities and relevant deities, with appropriate celebrations, rituals, invocations, and magic. Related material encompasses spells, recipes, incenses, the Celtic Tree Calendar, the Indian Lunar Zodiac, and the impact of eclipses and the zodiac signs.

'Joseph Campbell and the Lunar Bull' (Great Minds Series, Vol. 7) is a study on the great genius of one of the most influential mythology scholars of our times. The review shows that the historical transition from matriarchy to patriarchy seems to never haven taken place on the level of the unconscious. In the contrary, it appears that the intrinsic symbolism of the soul level, the content of the collective unconscious, the level of spiritual visions is one of the matriarchal goddesses and cosmic energy holders, such as the Mythic Bull or Lunar Bull, and the Serpent. Joseph Campbell was not only one of the greatest scholars humanity has known but also a fighter for the true expression of individual soul values, autonomy, self-reliance and true democracy. He, as not many others, unveiled the hidden fascism in our Judeo-Christian root culture that traditionally murdered the out-group while preaching to love one's neighbor, thereby representing one of the most hypocrite religious paradigms around the world. Campbell's mythology research is today backed up by the insights of Carl Jung and researchers on shamanism and entheogens such as Ralph Metzner or Jeremy Narby, as well as reports of personal experiences with matriarchal gods and goddesses manifesting through the intake of entheogens such as Ayahuasca. What we can learn from embracing mythology, as this monograph shows, is to find solutions that are viable and durable because they are integrated in the landscape of soul, and our collective unconscious, and not just green table solutions that may temporarily appeal to our rational mind. The illustrated volume presents a short biography, reviews of all of Campbell's acclaimed books, quotes, and comments, as well as a bonus essay by Peter Fritz Walter, entitled 'The Lunar Bull' which is puts a focus upon the spiritual significance of matriarchy.
