Descendants of Jacob B. Loyd (1808-1873), son of James Loyd, who was born in Wayne Co., Kentucky, and died in Putnam Co., Missouri. He was married 1831 in Wayne Co., Ky. to Nancy Bell (1808-1895), the daughter of Jeremiah Bell. She was born in Kentucky. They were parents of seven children. Family lived in Wayne Co., Kentucky until after 1840 when they moved to Bradley Co., Tennessee and ca. 1852 to Putnam Co., Missouri. Descendants live in Missouri, Idaho, Kansas, Oregon, Arizona, Iowa, Nebraska and elsewhere.

Jacob C. Turnmire was born 5 January 1818 in Wikes County, North Carolina. His parents were Adam Turnmire and Eva Cook. He married Jane Epperson (1822-1894) in Tennessee. They had seventeen children. Jacob died 21 February 1888 in Putnam County, Missouri. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Missouri, Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Illinois, Idaho, Oregon and California.
Thomas Lawson was born in 1793, probably in Virginia. His parents wer Drury Lawson and Hannah Potts. He married Mary Ann Morgan (1796-1879) in about 1816 in Tennessee. They had fourteen children. He died in 1874 in Putnam County, Missouri. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia, Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Oklahoma, California and Washington.
