New Paradigm, New Solutions... The amazing true story of the scientific discovery that we are far bigger, far more beautiful and far more powerful than we think, and how we can learn to use that power to heal ourselves, develop our full brain potential...and change the world. The solutions that are presented in this book will sound incredible, too good to be true, but by now they have more solid scientific evidence than almost anything else ever tried. This evidence shows that we could change our world in a matter of weeks, if we want to.
Providing examples from well-known movies, Field explains the structural and stylistic elements as well as writing techniques basic to the creation of a successful film script.
A Practical Framework for Positive Social Change In 1987, Anne Firth Murray had the idea that funding should go to grassroots women's organizations around the globe and that the recipients themselves should decide how to use that money. From that idea, The Global Fund for Women was born. The organization became a major force for good in the world, embodying a new paradigm of philanthropy. In these pages, Murray shares her wisdom, offering guidelines that demonstrate how anyone can turn a clear vision of a better world into reality.
Field Structure Theory is a research project into fundamental form and structure. This paper will explore one particular problem in physics, that of the particle hierarchy. While mass and energy values of particles have been known with exactitude, why they have these values has been unknown. Using the new analytic of Tometry and applying that analytic to Field Structure Theory explains the origin and structure of particles to a degree of accuracy beyond that capable of Standard Model that uses Quantum Mechanics to ascertain values. Key to this understanding is the simple and humble loop - a loop action or more precisely chiral loops of action. With loops of action, a universe can be constructed. This book will show how this is possible. It is all in how a Plenum loop interacts with itself. As will be shown, it is in three-dimensions loop interaction that forms arise as "fields" of action, condensing into matter and deploying into energy.
Foreword. A transformed scientific method. Earth and environment. Health and wellbeing. Scientific infrastructure. Scholarly communication.
Yes, you can write a great screenplay. Let Syd Field show you how. “I based Like Water for Chocolate on what I learned in Syd's books. Before, I always felt structure imprisoned me, but what I learned was structure really freed me to focus on the story.”—Laura Esquivel Technology is transforming the art and craft of screenwriting. How does the writer find new ways to tell a story with pictures, to create a truly outstanding film? Syd Field shows what works, why, and how in four extraordinary films: Thelma & Louise, Terminator 2: Judgement Day, The Silence of the Lambs, and Dances with Wolves. Learn how: Callie Khouri, in her first movie script, Thelma & Louise, rewrote the rules for good road movies and played against type to create a new American classic. James Cameron, writer/director of Terminator 2: Judgement Day, created a sequel integrating spectacular special effects and a story line that transformed the Terminator, the quintessential killing machine, into a sympathetic character. This is how an action film is written. Ted Tally adapted Thomas Harris's chilling 350-page novel, The Silence of the Lambs, into a riveting 120-page script—a lesson in the art and craft of adapting novels into film. Michael Blake, author of Dances with Wolves, achieved every writer's dream as he translated his novel into an uncompromising film. Learn how he used transformation as a spiritual dynamic in this work of mythic sweep. Informative and utterly engrossing, Four Screenplays belongs in every writer's library, next to Syn Field's highly acclaimed companion volumes, Screenplay, The Screenwriter's Workbook, and Selling a Screenplay. “If I were writing screenplays . . . I would carry Syd Field around in my back pocket wherever I went.”—Steven Bochco, writer/producer/director, L.A. Law, Hill Street Blues
"Consciousness is evolving, and we are evolving with it. Today we are at the beginning of an evolutionary step forward for consciousness, a revolution of sorts." -John Smotherman Making his contribution to the world, author John Smotherman shares with you the greatest discovery of his life: raising consciousness is the most powerful fulcrum for increasing personal happiness and leveraging the world into a better place for everyone. The consciousness of the world at large holds the greatest hope and potential boon to people who live in the most desperate of circumstances. We have the means to alleviate extreme poverty and the desperation and ills associated with it, if we can muster the will. Empathy for others is the doorway through which love enters our lives. Learning to truly empathize with all of humanity is one of the most fulfilling things we can do: it gives life a gravity of meaning and purpose that fulfills us at levels the ego cannot reach. Shifting paradigms to view the world differently-as one collective human consciousness-could drastically improve the kind of Earth our children, and our children's children, will inherit.
The New Paradigm begins by extolling Science and what it has done for us. Then, in Chapter 2, the consequences of our short-sighted acceptance of the comforts of the present are shown to make it unlikely that the West can survive this century. Exhaustion of resources and overpopulation are the principal reasons. In Chapters 4 and 5, it is shown that our present beliefs in the foundations of science are ill-based; most of those secure foundations are by now shaking with doubt. Then follows the essence of the book. In Chapters 5, 6, 7 and 8 there is presented evidence for the acceptance of the reality of Telepathy and Precognition; of ghosts of people; of the ability of some to leave the body whilst still alive; of experiences when very near to death which seem to be independent of the experiencer's religion. These involve the experience of an intense feeling of love, of the evaluation of your life, etc. The most frequent beginning to such experiences involves the observation of the patient on the death bed - usually in a hospital operating room - of one's own body from high up near the ceiling. After that, the evidence for Reincarnation in new bodies is given. In Chapter 9 is a detailed discussion of what CONSCIOUSNESS means. In this chapter comes a statement of the evidence for a Biofield to explain the ability of some to show that they can change their surroundings by the power of their mind. In the last chapter, some conclusions are given and an approach to a New Paradigm outlined. Humans exist dualistically, the essence of a human is inside his mortal body. This essence is called Consciousness (or the Soul) and it lives on although we do not yet know for how many generations; nor whether this reincarnation applies to all of us. Acceptance of this vital change of outlook, when it spreads to the general population, will cause many changes including the diminishing of Hate and War and an increase in Peace and Love.
The book provides readers with an overview of the state of the art in the field of Industry 4.0 and related research advancements. The respective chapters identify and discuss new dimensions of both risk factors and success factors, along with performance metrics that can be employed in future research work. They also discuss a number of real-time issues, problems and applications with corresponding solutions and suggestions. Sharing new theoretical findings, tools and techniques for Industry 4.0, and covering both theoretical and application-oriented approaches, the book offers a valuable asset for newcomers to the field and practicing professionals alike.
Innovation is almost always seen as a "good thing". Challenging the Innovation Paradigm is a critical analysis of the innovation frenzy and contemporary innovation research. The one-sided focus on desirable effects of innovation misses many opportunities to reduce the undesirable consequences. Authors in this book show how systemic effects outside the innovating firms reduce the net benefits of innovation for individual employees, customers, as well as for society as a whole - also the innovators' own organizations. This book analyzes the dominant discourses that construct and reconstruct the assumptions and one-sidedness of contemporary innovation research (generally known as the pro-innovation bias) by focusing on consequences of innovation, distinguishing between intended and unintended as well as desirable and undesirable consequences. Contributors illustrate how both the discourses of innovation and the consequences of innovation permeate all levels of society: in policy discourse, in academic discourse, in research funding, in national innovation systems, in the financial sector, in organizational and work contexts, and in environmental pollution. The volume offers a critical, multidisciplinary, and multinational perspective on the topic, with authors from diverse academic fields examining and making comparisons between a variety of national contexts.
