The Faerie are not just little sprites with wings. They are an entire spiritual race of beings that exists on another level of reality, the Faerie realms. In The Faerie Way by Hugh Mynne you will not only find out the truth about these peaceful people, but also you will learn the practical techniques you need to visit them and obtain wisdom that can change your life. If the idea of journeying to a spiritual world sounds shamanic, it is because shamanism is at the core of the Faerie faith. The methods for traveling to their world involve altering your consciousness through relaxation, visualization, prayer, and knowledge. To the Faerie initiate, darkness and light, life and death, male and female are aspects of one totality ó and every tree, flower, and blade of grass sings with its own spirit. This book will help you look under the Faerie mounds and open you to the holiness of all life's cycles and chances, and the eternal beauty underlying all. For guidance on your path, you will read about four previous explorers of the Faerie realms, one of whom is George "A.E." Russell who not only wrote about the Faerie, but also painted pictures of them. The book includes five of his paintings, in full color, which have never been published before. The journey you can take is magical. Through contact with immensely powerful allies and animal helpers in the Faerie world you'll reunite with your Faerie "Co-Walker" to heal old wounds, overcome personal demons, and even help rebuild our shattered world. A history of popular superstitions, tales, and magic in British literature. In The Fairy Way of Writing, Kevin Pask seeks to explain the origins and popularity of enchantment in Shakespeare’s plays. Writers John Dryden and Joseph Addison originated the phrase “fairy way of writing” to define the concept of an English creative imagination founded on a synthesis of high literary culture and the popular culture of tales and superstitions. Beginning with Chaucer, Johnson, Dryden, and Milton, Pask argues that the fairy way of writing not only sets the stage for the fairy tale, the Gothic novel, and children’s literature but also informs genres beyond the English canon, including painting, twentieth-century fantasy fiction, and French fairy tales. In addition to English writers and visual artists such as Pope, Blake, and Keats, who were directly engaged with Shakespearean fantasy, Pask also examines fairy tales, letters, and paintings by the French writers Madame d'Aulnoy, Charles Perrault, Madame de Sévigné, and the Swiss-born artist Johann Heinrich Füssli (Fuseli). The Fairy Way of Writing alters the traditional sense of English literary history and of Shakespeare’s singular place in it, insisting on the importance of often-overlooked literary and visual works. It recovers a distinctive aspect of English literary culture from across the entire early modern era and beyond, one that has been studied in the context of individual periods and writers but is only now explored in relation to the history of European nationalism and the creation of the modern literary system.

You can be a warrior, if you choose to be. Fifteen-year-old Branwen's life is changed forever when enemy Saxon troops attack her homeland and her brother is killed. Branwen wants to jump into action and avenge her brother's death, but instead she is sent to a neighboring stronghold where she'll be safe from harm. Yet while she is surrounded by exquisite beauty and luxury in her new home—as a princess should be—she feels different from the other girls. Deep down, Branwen has the soul of a warrior. Then a mystical woman in white foretells a daunting prophecy: Branwen will be the one to save her homeland. Suddenly forced to question everything—and everyone—around her, she realizes that the most difficult part of her journey is still to come. With no time to lose, Branwen must make a choice: continue on the path her parents intended for her . . . or step into the role of a true Warrior Princess.
By the light of the pure eclipse, two worlds will be as one . . . She was once a princess of Faerie, the seventh daughter of King Oberon. But sixteen-year-old Anita Palmer has no memory of the Faerie Realm; her true Faerie princess identity; her love, Edric; or her quest to save Faerie from a deadly plague that ravaged it. With the help of an unexpected ally, Anita must figure out a way to reawaken Tania, her Faerie self—but how? Now Anita—or is she Tania?—doesn't know who, or what, to trust, including her own memories. With no time to spare, Anita must act. A thrilling final battle is soon to be waged that will affect not only her destiny but the fate of both Faerie and the Mortal World. Loyalties will be tested, true love questioned, and nothing is what it seems.
Tania is a princess of Faerie. And now she must return to the Mortal World. Once upon a time, Tania was an ordinary girl. But then she was swept into another world, where she was the long-lost princess of the elegant and magical court of Faerie, and only she could save the court from great peril. Now Tania—and her true love, Edric—will go back to the Mortal Realm to seek Queen Titania, lost hundreds of years ago while searching for Tania. Their return leads to struggles with Tania's much-loved mortal parents and friends as she and Edric try to conceal their secret. But much more serious dangers lurk: The sinister Lord Drake is not yet defeated, they are pursued by dark supernatural forces, and Tania's two worlds are about to collide in amazing and frightening ways she never could have anticipated.
What lies beyond the earthly world? Is there an invisible, ethereal realm inhabited by creatures that cannot be perceived by the human eye? What if fairy tales, myths, and lore hid the secret code needed to access our deepest human resources? And what if, by approaching the Faerie Dimension without prejudice or fear, we could find the secret key to reveal the treasures we are still unaware of, removing from our path any obstacle, overcoming any conflict, and fulfilling every desire? The Faerie Code is a guide and contains seven original tales that provide access to the Faerie Dimension and its gifts. It discloses information from a realm that is invisible to most humans but sometimes makes itself known. Whether this dimension belongs to the inspiration coming from the realms of consciousness, or rather, to a subtle dimension where the faeries are supposed to live, it does not matter much . . . because on the Faerie Path, everything is possible.
In an instant, a time of joy and celebration turns to one of heartbreak and fear. Tania has finally found a way to bring her two worlds together, and while enjoying a long-awaited meeting of her Mortal and Faerie families, with her beloved Edric by her side, all seems right for the princess. But when a Faerie baby suddenly falls ill, followed by more and more Faeries—including her own sister Cordelia—Tania knows that something is terribly wrong. With no time to lose, Tania joins forces with her sisters to find a cure before this dark plague kills everyone she loves. Yet as the illness spirals out of control, Tania realizes that what they really need is help from the Mortal World. But will bringing another stranger to Faerie only make things worse? With countless lives hanging in the balance and a fast-growing Faerie suspicion of all things Mortal—including Tania herself—Tania makes a desperate move that will either save the land and people she has come to hold dear . . . or destroy their only chance for survival.
