When Tibetan first became refugees, they never thought that they would remain refugees for more than half a century and for the unknow future; no one can be predict how long they still have to wait for their eventual return to Tibet. Looking at the current economic and political influence of China on the global stagae and the attitude of Chinese leaders regarding Tibet as reflected in the Sixth Work Forum on Tibet, it is unlikely that the return will come anytime soon.
