Nationalism is nothing less than a psychological self destruction. When one goes beyond the need of identity, a strong sense of security and wellbeing often demonstrates in confidence and self control resulting in showing empathy and trust in others. Trust and empathy unite our societies, while fear, low self esteem, anxiety and primitivism as well as an illusion of control results in new nations, new religions, new states and countries, rarely without bloody wars and human suffering. To conclude, nationalism is nothing more than a self esteem of fools, a very dangerous cognitive or psychological error created by our faulty thinking patterns. So far it caused nothing more than horrible, irreversable and devastating damage to human race. Einstein was wrong when he sad that nationalism is just an infantile disease, in my eyes, nationalism is not only an illusion with no future, it is the cancer to human race. I am shocked by the fact that every second two people die from war conflict around the globe, while cancer takes a life every 14 seconds. Nationalism is constantly promoted and on the rise, even 28 times more deadlier than cancer. As a rational human being I felt the urge to write this book which will hopefully create an impact on the humanity and save lives of many. As mentioned earlier in my previous books, fight against the nature is the mission impossible, however, we all must give our best in that regard. In Hemingway’s novel, The old man and sea, an old fisherman Santiago didn’t give up fighting the nature and I think we should all follow his steps at all costs.

The Dilemmas of Ethnic Policy: A Global Perspective argues that ethnic conflict increases or decreases in relation to changes in the social structure and the location and distribution of political power. Ethnic grievances derive from lack of access to valued resources, and elites play a crucial role in allocating those resources. This book examines the experiences of five countries with a history of ethnic conflict: former Yugoslavia/Bosnia-Herzegovina, Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, and the United States. It finds that in many cases, solutions adopted to mitigate ethnic conflict have unintended consequences. Often, supposed solutions confuse cause and effect and in fact worsen ethnic conflict. Attempts to address identity issues by pandering to them often led to further ethnic demands. This book argues that, based on the experiences of the countries under examination, the best course is to adopt policies that encourage alliances between and among ethnic groups.
Janette H. Ok argues that 1 Peter characterizes Christian identity as an ethnic identity, as it holds the potential to engender a powerful sense of solidarity for readers who are experiencing social alienation as a result of their conversion. The epistle describes and delineates a communal identity based on Jewish traditions, and in response to the hostility its largely Gentile Anatolian addressees are experiencing as religious minorities in the Roman empire. In order to help construct a collective understanding of what it means to be a Christian in contrast to non-Christians, Ok argues that the author of the epistle employs “ethnic reasoning” or logic. Consequently, the writer of 1 Peter makes use of various literary and rhetorical strategies, including establishing a sense of shared history and ancestry, delineating boundaries, stereotyping and negatively characterizing “the other,” emphasizing distinct conduct or a common culture, and applying ethnic categories to his addressees. Ok further highlights how these strategies bear striking resemblances to what modern anthropologists and sociologists describe as the characteristics of ethnic groups. In depicting Christian identity as an ethnic identity akin to the unique religious-ethnic identity of the Jews, Ok concludes that 1 Peter seeks to foster internal cohesion among the community of believers who are struggling to forge a distinctive and durable group identity, resist external pressures to revert to a way of life unbefitting the people of God, and live as those born anew to a living hope.
