In a quiet corner of England, a young boy visits the cinema for the first time. Overwhelmed by the experience, he returns to see a movie which will ignite his imagination, fill his head with fantasy and change the course of his life. That enthusiasm carries him though to his adolescence, when he gets a part-time job as an usher at his local cinema. Falling in with the motley crew of cinephile staff, he falls in love, finds his tribe, and fantasises about his film-filled future. The final act sees that same boy as a grown man, back in his hometown after life panned out in a slightly unexpected way. When an opportunity to break into the film world presents itself, he finds that his life has come full circle as he sets out again to make his magnum opus...
First impressions don't have to be everything. But second, third, fourth impressions create a reputation, and those are hard to break. In the public eye, where everybody is tuned in to your every move, and behind the scenes, where certain people are privy to the real you... or at least what they perceive you to be. Jordan Johnson is a man under pressure - from his teammates, fans, family, and the one person who wants to see him succeed as badly as he wants it for himself. He'll do whatever he has to in order to not let anyone down... and maybe find an unanticipated connection along the way. Nicole Richardson is a woman with a purpose - prove herself worthy of her place in a male-dominated field. Fiercely competitive, wielder of tough love and motivation, and terrible at dealing with things outside of her control. Between making sure the players are thriving, and coping with a changing family dynamic, a relationship isn't even on her radar. Denying their chemistry would be a waste of words, but giving in isn't an option. A season on the line. Reputations at stake. The threat of seeing their personal lives played out on the evening highlights. With all of that swirling around them, Jordan and Nicole have to decide if it's worth the effort to make the play... or take a knee. Love Belvin and Christina C. Jones collaborate on a series of football romance, staring two football greats who so happen to be in for the biggest play of their lives: for their hearts. Quarterback, Trent Bailey, and wide receiver, Jordan Johnson, give their all out on the green. But what happens when the two friends encounter true love? Take on Connecticut Kings' finest and journey through their discovery of developing themselves as men, and exploring love.
Poet Wanted I am what I am. I am what you made me. POET WANTED-written lines like written rhymes singing opportunity in my ears. I sift through my experiences, pulling colorful stories from my archival memory, showing you what mine eyes have seen, ears have heard. Orchestrating my music of sound, my compositional opus. POET WANTED; circling ads in the classifieds- attempts at answering my calling, thoughts, that through this, I will be classified; pushing back the tides of formerly being identified as irrelevant-overlooked. Remember this moment, for it has already been etched in the deepest nooks and crannies of my brain- for even I, won't let me forget. I call til' you pick up. Question until you answer, answer until you question, knock until it is opened- pound until my fist is imprinted on your door, and kick until forensic pathologists can make a mold of my shoe print. I will not be forgotten. You will not look past me. A professional knocker I will be. And !no!, Avon is not calling. Have you listened intently to the sound of prolific knocking- knuckles meeting doors only to find that no'ones home. Auditioning for an audience alone- the fire marshall petitions me to fill the room capacity. Casting couch calls- I hang on to my integrity. There will be no selling out. Every "No" heard, creating more hunger pains. Experiences that are starving man reserved... for they are mines... and yours, hers... and theirs.
While retaining the basic structure of the original book, this new edition has been thoroughly updated in light of some official Catholic documents and other theological writings dealing with sexual morality that have appeared since 1986. The Catechism of the Catholic Church, Pope John Paul II's encyclicals Veritatis splendor and Evangelium vitae, and the 1986 and 1992statements of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith on pastoral care of homosexuals and the issue of discrimination against them are among the more recent magisterial publications considered in this text. This edition also contains several new sections: the misuses of sex (adultery, pornography, prostitution, sexual violence); four rationales for viewing a committed love relationship as the only appropriate context for sexual intercourse; marriage as a sacrament and marital sexuality and love as embodiments of commitment, intimacy, and passion; and public policy and the civil rights of homosexuals. This edition also includes an expanded discussion of topics such as sexism, sexually transmitted diseases especially HIV/AIDS and the moral questions raised by new family-planning methods (Norplant, Depo-Provera), RU-486, postcoital hormonal interventions against pregnancy, the start of human life, and abortion. Vincent J. Genovesi, SJ, received his PhD in Christian ethics from Emory University. He is a professor at St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia. His articles have appeared in such journals as The Thomist, The Way, America, and Review for Religious.
There are many ways to say 'I love you', and many ways to show it, but there will always be more ways to feel it. The Language of Loving You is a collection of poetry and short prose delving into the ways you can fall in and out of love, lust and loneliness. It journeys through fate, death, hope and survival in the face of love, with the clockwork of the heart turning through time and coming full circle into new beginnings.

In Stroke of Genius, I Profess Vol. 2, Gentleman Klark has combined fine pieces of literature that come together into a story book composition body of work that surpasses being just a decent poetography. As an autobiography in poems, this book has moments that are serious, disappointing, humorous, and inspiring. Gent gives a descriptive word show of what it’s like journeying through the different hoods, and sailing waters in the different ships of life: childhood, adulthood, parenthood, and friendships, relationships, and partnerships. In this follow up to I Profess, Gent fills audiences in on experiences in depth and Stroke of Genius does not fall short in showing his growth and maturity as a man, as well as his skill as an author and poet. Through his pen, through his heart, and through his mind, Gent displays his writing versatility as he poetically expresses sexually intimate and non-intimate experiences. To meet expectations of various critics, he proves he is not a one track minded writer, and that he can literally, poetically write about any and every feeling, idea, and experience. Stroke of Genius is an all around, all the way through compilation of fancy penmanship, witty, wooing wordsmanship, linguistic art expressions of good intent, misery, pleasure, pain, heartache, disappointment, madness, joy, anger, and love. It all has an advanced level of creative quality that makes it far from dull poetry. As you read, you’ll enjoy how Gent’s words are fashionably and elegantly placed, how his thoughts and experiences are beautifully and carefully described, making his expressions visually imaginable and appealing. A literary and publishing upgrade from the first I Profess in several categories including: smarts, creative clarity, and content. Gent has certainly worked to develop as a published author and increase the value of his work. A book showcase full of writing skill and poetic talent. Poetry that returns the fun to reading. Worth every cent. There are so many poems, and each poem is like it’s own story itself. Where poetry and publishing meet. Stroke of Genius, I Profess Vol. 2 is the calligraphy of printed poetry.
