Two fifteen year old boys, Tomas and Aidan embark on a search to find a missing tramper on Mount Pirongia. They have to tell their parents a slightly modified reason for the excursion as their younger brothers, Darryn and Benjamin, threaten to tell on them if they dont let them join the search. They say they will climb to some of the higher peaks to give the young blackmailers a bush tramping experience. All goes well till Darryn makes a rash decision. The boys are forced to flee some angry men and find themselves scrambling desperately through trackless bush.
