Jacque Bruyere was born in Chevre, France. He married Louise Doussot in 1690 in Griefenstein, Germany. Their son, Peter (1697-1779) was born in Griefenstein, Germany. He married Elinor Price in New Jersey and died in Allentown, New Jersey. Descendants lived in New Jersey, Iowa, Texas, and elsewhere.
