Excerpt from My Prisons: Memoirs of Silvio Pellico of Saluzzo ON Friday the 13th of October, 1820, I was arrested at Milan, and carried to the prison of Santa Margherita. I was unable to resist the thought, and I wept even as a child. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
