La idea de realizar un Libro Blanco de la educación digital para una reflexión comunitaria vino motivado tanto por la ausencia de una publicación semejante como por la oportunidad que supuso analizar y crear espacios de reflexión sobre el impacto que tuvo el confinamiento en la aceleración de la digitalización de la educación en todo el mundo. La fuerte repercusión y el rápido avance de la sociedad de la información y la incorporación de nuevas tecnologías han supuesto un nuevo panorama y nuevos desafíos para la educación y la enseñanza. Este nuevo contexto no solo supone disponer de recursos para digitalizar la escuela, sino que va más allá y contempla un cambio estructural que implica plantear nuevas miradas del sistema educativo, y por tanto involucra a todos los miembros de la comunidad educativa, tanto docentes, niños, niñas y adolescentes estudiantes, padres y madres, AMPA, sindicatos, responsables educativos y organismos de administración pública relacionados con la innovación, la tecnología y la educación. La Universidad Complutense de Madrid ha realizado este Libro Blanco de la educación digital en el marco del proyecto del Safer Internet Centre, Spain (SIC-Spain 2.0), que lidera el Instituto Nacional de Ciberseguridad de España (INCIBE). Se propone al lector/a abrir un tiempo para la reflexión comunitaria y situar el debate en los espacios sociales y educativos donde se pueda convocar. Por esta razón este Libro Blanco no se escribe para buscar ni conclusiones ni recomendaciones, sino para motivar y provocar a los/as lectores/as a la reflexión, suscitar el debate, e invitar la comunidad a la modificación, rectificación, crítica, o adhesión a las ideas que se proponen.
En un entorno social y cultural en el que la mayor parte de las comunicaciones son mediadas por tecnologías la educación mediática se convierte en un requisito indispensable para el desarrollo de la autonomía personal de los ciudadanos y la plena implementación de una cultura democrática. Por ello, el mundo académico debería conceder una importancia capital a la educación mediática. En el libro se parte de esta premisa y se recogen los resultados y conclusiones de una investigación I+D+i sobre la situación de la educación mediática en la universidad española, tanto en los grados de educación como en los de comunicación. Del análisis de toda la información obtenida se extraen conclusiones sobre fuerzas y flaquezas, carencias y retos de la educación mediática en el marco de la Cultura Digital.

This publication provides an overview of the common and unique sustainability elements of Indigenous Peoples' food systems, in terms of natural resource management, access to the market, diet diversity, indigenous peoples’ governance systems, and links to traditional knowledge and indigenous languages. While enhancing the learning on Indigenous Peoples food systems, it will raise awareness on the need to enhance the protection of Indigenous Peoples' food systems as a source of livelihood for the 476 million indigenous inhabitants in the world, while contributing to the Zero Hunger Goal. In addition, the UN Decade of Action on Nutrition (2016-2025) and the UN Food Systems Summit call on the enhancement of sustainable food systems and on the importance of diversifying diets with nutritious foods, while broadening the existing food base and preserving biodiversity. This is a feature characteristic of Indigenous Peoples' food systems since hundreds of years, which can provide answers to the current debate on sustainable food systems and resilience.
