By celebrity psychic Uri Geller, this simple, fun and visually attractive guide explains how to improve your life by unlocking your intuition and learning this ancient but effective divinatory art. Dowsing simply means searching for something by intuition. It's widely regarded as being a psychic method of looking for water, but it's so much more than that – you can dowse for everything from lost objects to the self-knowledge hidden in your subconscious – and this book will show you exactly how. All of us have intuition but in this modern world we have become disconnected from this ancient power. Uri Geller is famous around the world for his intuitive, paranormal powers, which range from bending spoons to astounding feats of dowsing, such as his location of huge offshore oil field on behalf of Mexico's national oil company (for which he was rewarded with Mexican citizenship). In this amazing book, he guides you step by step through the hidden world of dowsing that he knows so well. Simple exercises in the form of Uri mini-class activities, and fun games such as crystal hide-and-seek, teach the basic skills you need to dowse, whether you use divining rods, a pendulum, a forked twig or just your hands. The book then explains how to use these skills to find everything from lost objects to water, fossils, archaeological remains and even hidden treasure! Most importantly, Uri reveals how dowsing can help you unlock submerged thoughts and knowledge and evaluate vital choices in business, love and family life. Also including real-life case studies of amazing dowsing events, stories of celebrity dowsers through history and background explanation of the science of dowsing, this is a super accessible and fun guide to the most useful of the paranormal skills.
This introduction explains dowsing techniques and uses, including map dowsing, hand and body dowsing, agricultural dowsing, and psychic dowsing
A comprehensive introduction to dowsing by one of Britain's top dowsing instructors. This timeless book written by a Master Dowser is the only introduction you will ever need.
It's the definitive guide for anyone who wants to master the principles and techniques of dowsing for use in agriculture, camping, or replacement of polluted or diminishing water sources. It's first a matter of a few basics of geology and land formation, and then learning how to make and use the simple dowsing equipment you need, and the different techniques that work in various sites and locations. But, most of all, it's about awakening your undeveloped intuitive and psychic skills and putting them to use in order to "contact" the underground sources where up to 90 percent of earth's fresh water is stored.
This comprehensive volume on dowsing and divining - from the twig and the pendulum to motorscopes and bare hands - traces the story of these fascinating and enigmatic phenomena from its origins in the world of fairy tales and mythology to recent theories that the enigma can be explained in terms of present-day psychology. The force present in the act of dowsing and divining can be compared to the sensitivity of men and women suffering from rheumatism who feel, in advance, changes of weather. Theories that have been brought forward to explain its presence include suggestion, radiation, colour, the existence of a sixth sense, and changes in the earth's magnetic field. As there are many possible explanations there are also many types and applications of dowsing and divining: map dowsing; being eggs; radiesthesia; the diagnosis and cure of disease; locating missing persons; forces, fields and rays; and detecting thieves. The author tells of dowsers past and present: Robert Leftwich who located abandoned tunnels and other underground hazards; Major Harold Spary who dowsed for the Royal Aircraft Establishment and the Royal Engineers during World War II; William Young who charged £200 a day in 1971 for dowsing; Tom Lethbridge who investigated Viking graves on Lundy Island; Henry Gross who discovered Bermuda's first natural wells. Even today large building and contracting firms employ resident site engineers who use sophisticated sets of divining rods. The book introduces us, in lucid and readable style, to the fascinating world of dowsing and divining, and gives the reader full instructions on how to attempt to become one of this international community.
The author of this little book, Madame Marguerite Maury, is a lady of much experience in the teaching of Radiesthesia and in the practice of the art, particularly in its medical application. For many years she was a fully trained nurse and later took up massage in which she obtained conspicuously successful results. Some years ago, she happened to make the acquaintance of M. Louis Turenne, an engineer and a radiesthetist of great repute. Following a remarkable diagnosis of a case of eczema made by him, and its subsequent cure through homoeopathy, Madame Maury was persuaded by M. Turenne to take up the study of Radiesthesia, for he realised that she had a special aptitude in this direction. She developed her powers to the full and tells me that during the course of fifteen years she has carried out more than 70,000 diagnoses and made numerous locations for water and minerals. With the help of some collaborators she founded the College Radiesthesique Francais and drew up a course of instruction by correspondence which has been followed by more than 900 pupils. This series of lessons, to which a section on Medical Radiesthesia has been added, forms the substance of this book. Readers will see that Madame Maury who, previous to becoming a nurse, had studed physics in Vienna, is a firm believer in the purely physical origin of the radiesthetic phenomena, and some may think that her claims in this respect cannot always be justified. For instance, it is difficult to see how location on maps and diagrams, which is now a well-established fact, can be attributed to anything but some obscure stimulus from the sub- conscious mind. Madame Maury very rightly stresses the individual nature of the radiesthetic art, and anyone who has studied the subject from an objective point of view for many years will fully bear her out. However that may be, it is always an advantage for a novice to start on a definite system, though he may find later that he has to depart from it and develop a method better suited to his own personality. A book such as this which deals with Radiesthesia in its widest application and does not advocate unnecessary refinements in instruments and technique, should be of great value as an introduction to a science which is still in a state of evolution.
The Art of Dowsing: Separating Science from Superstition book is the first book ever written that comprehensively explains the physics involved in using the modern ball bearing dowsing rod with gauging by pitting gravity against the elemental magnetic flux lines of the dowsed for element or elemental mass. Gravity is used as a gauge for dowsing the edges, middle, grade, angle of depositing with depth buried. The involved physics of each of the ninety-two natural elements radiating out electromagnetic microwave band frequency from single atoms that combine with other atoms of the same element for producing one elemental magnetic flux line, which combine with all the other same element's elemental magnetic flux lines for building enough static electrical energy for the human body produced static electricity to energize the dowsing rod's attached one-tenth-troy-ounce pure element that is dowsed for. The element that is attached to the dowsing rod becomes energized enough by the same element buried in the ground to produce physical turning of the dowsing rod when dowsing toward and over the sought buried elemental mass. Building and maintaining the modern ball bearing dowsing rod and dowsing on foot or amplified long-distance dowsing from a vehicle is thoroughly explained. Michael John Fercik started dowsing for gold ore veins in 1975 with unknowingly becoming a dowsing savant after figuring out the dowsing physics involved, and this is why he has the natural ability today to write the book that will change the world's perspective on all the dowsing false superstitions with the correct dowsing theories and proven science and physics of dowsing in the modern world. Physical on ground dowsing and long-distance dowsing from a moving vehicle is explained in laymen terms for enabling everyone to understand the physics involved in dowsing while shown how to build your own modern ball bearing dowsing rod and how to dowse and gauge what is being dowsed. Physicists will be amazed that nobody has explained the physics involved in dowsing and how to use dowsing physics with gravity as a gauge for understanding the size, grade, angle of depositing, and depth buried of the dowsed elemental mass. Dowsing specific wording is explained in a glossary of terms for easy understanding and communications of the required dowsing process of eliminations. Whether or not you want to learn how to dowse, just reading and understanding the recently proven physics of dowsing will excite the curiosity of expanding previously unknown physics of the electrical energies involved in the human body interacting with the electrical energies of solid or liquid or gaseous matter through the modern ball bearing dowsing rod.
