Sometimes a match that’s all wrong, turns out to be just right. While waiting to audition for a rare tubist seat opening, Avery Williams intends to cheer up her cancer ridden neighbor. She plans a throwback Christmas party in the barn where the sick woman got engaged forty years ago. It will be the highlight of the year, unless the building gets destroyed first. In town for a short while to help his sick mother, Gator Franks expects to grab a side job and make some quick cash to help pay her hospital bills. Unfortunately, he has to get past the ugliest cat he has ever seen, which happens to be attached to a little blonde with sparkling pink fingernails, a city-girl attitude, and a fixation on saving the barn he just contracted to tear down. Slowly, using simple words, Avery explains to the uncouth mountain man—the one with the ferocious, tuba-player-eating dogs—that she can’t have a party in the barn if he bulldozes it first! When circumstances force them to work together, it’s a race to see who will win first, and if they’ll give in to the growing feelings between them. Claire HardingI live in Idaho. (Yes, potatoes. *eye roll* Can we talk about something else?) And I love it here. Small town values galore and it's right where I want to raise my girls after my jerk ex traded me in for a "younger, newer model" (his words, not mine). My mom's the volunteer fire chief in our town and I'm pretty happy hanging out with the auxiliary at the fire hall and doing her grunt work - NOT fighting fires, because, please, I read, love science and my idea of a lot of exercise is having to walk up the stairs twice in the morning before I send my girls off to school and leave for my job as a home nurse.I guess it's kind of weird that I also coach basketball. Long story.I was pretty happy with my life until the hot shot, all-state baller from my teen years moved back in next door. (I babysat him, yes, but I never changed his diapers. Just wanted to be clear about that.)Guess who's now the assistant b-ball coach? Logic would say me - especially since I coached my entire first year holding the play book upside down (it turned out to be an old football playbook from the '80s, so it's not like it mattered which way I held it) but the accurate answer is Trey Haywood, my all-star neighbor, and I'm honestly not sure which of us is more upset about it.Anyway, the team was trying to set us up (girls, they're such romantics) and I don't think they would have succeeded, but in celebration of breaking our 37 game losing streak, they locked Trey and me in the septic system control room. That changed everything. Not in a good way.TreyYeah. What she said.And...when I first saw her again, I thought she was a catastrophe. New thought post septic control: she's a cute catastrophe. (And, holy man, can she kiss.)
Burgundy Gannon went to Hollywood to make it big. That was a bust. Crew Pittman was one of the world’s top underwater welders. Until a freak accident left him permanently unable to work. When Burgundy shows up at Crew’s new home to be a caretaker to the elderly woman who won’t leave, it seems like three unlikely people are trapped unwillingly together. But late night rides from a secret Santa and an infusion of the Christmas season of love and laughter that’s in Mistletoe, Arkansas year round, just might melt their hearts and create beauty out of brokenness. Reviews for Dreaming of Her Secret Santa's Kiss: ★★★★★ "This book may be the best book Jessie Gussman has ever written. She perfectly describes the pain, guilt, and shame that so many people have from mistakes they have made in the past. But Jessie also beautifully demonstrates how wonderful and big God is and how nothing is too big or ugly for Him. This book will bring you to tears; both happy and sad. It will remind you that everyone has something in their life to overcome. It also reminds you that everyone is a sinner, but that God can use anyone and everyone for His good." - KKRG ★★★★★ "These are not your typical romance heroes, but their story overflows with God’s love and grace. It also offers a wonderful example of who we should all be as God’s church and people. Faith, grace, redemption, this book has it all." - Charlene ★★★★★ "This is one of my favorites ! So much to learn and so much to gain !!! This is a great story about loving people for who they are and not were ! Finding strength in yourself and others , forgiveness love and moving forward not matter what all in God's name .. So humbling ..." - Kindle Customer ★★★★★ "Another amazing book from Jessie Gussman! She tackles some very difficult issues in Dreaming of Her Secret Santa's Kisses and her sensitive handling of her characters and their regrets about their past actions make the happy ending especially satisfying." - MiTudor ★★★★★ "This book went above and beyond my expectations. Phenomenal. Superb. It really takes assumptions and turns them on their heads. There are life lessons to be learned for all within these pages. Plus, a couple of great and intense characters with a heartfelt romance." - Michaela Books in the Cowboy Mountain Christmas series: Dreaming of Her Cowboy's Kiss Dreaming of His Convenient Kiss Dreaming of Her Secret Santa's Kiss Dreaming of His Snowed In Kiss Dreaming of Her Best Friend's Kiss Dreaming of His Pen Pal's Kiss

When I rode my bike into Aster Valley, it was supposed to be temporary. A quick, relaxing visit with friends. No entanglements. Zero drama. But then I saw the bumblebee being harassed on the side of the highway. More specifically, I saw Truman Sweet, Aster Valley's resident botanist, spice merchant, and bee-costume enthusiast, being harassed. And the second I got involved, all my plans for a quick departure scattered like pollen on the breeze. It turns out that Truman-adorkably shy, relentlessly sunshiny, hot as all heck, reluctantly-still-a-virgin Truman-has secrets. Secrets someone in this charming small town doesn't want brought to light. Secrets that rouse every one of my protective instincts just as surely as his kisses rouse... other parts of me. And before I know it, I'm thinking being entangled might not be so bad... if it's Truman I'm tangled up with. I'll do whatever it takes to protect Truman from the dangers in his past, but after a lifetime of loneliness and disappointment, how can I possibly convince him to trust me with his future?
