But owing to the indefinite manner ln which the. Returns were rendered, till recently, it has been very difficult and often impossible to tell from the records in which of our six cemeteries burials have been made, when monuments are not in evidence. For which reason there will ever remain many name less graves in our two oldest cemeteries. This lack of informa tion may be remedied in some measure if anyone to whose'notice this list may come, who has knowledge of any full account of burial which does not appear in the published list, will give the same to the compiler.
