This CD-ROM provides ready-made, easy-to-use lessons using ICT in the Mathematics classroom. There is a task covering each of the National Strategy Framework key objectives (about 48 in total), with each lesson carefully referenced to the Framework. There are a variety of activities and approaches, including investigations and modelling using software packages such as Excel, Logo, Cabri and Flash. There are Demonstration Lessons, with full notes for the teacher explaining the purpose of the demonstration and relating it to the Key Objectives, questions for the teacher to ask the class to get them started, and technical tips and hints on classroom organisation. There are also Task Lessons, with full teachers notes, plus a photocopiable 'Task Sheet' for pupils to use during the lesson. This CD-ROM contains electronic versions of all the sheets (so that teachers can customise these as appropriate for use in their school), and the interactive application files for use in the classroom. In addition there is general advice for teachers on the issues involved in using ICT in the classroom.
