This book is about God building his kingdom one step at a time. God is revealing all of his attributes to all his creation. God's creation must make a decision if they want to live in the new kingdom and be willing to submit to his authority and obey his commands because they love him. This decision must be made by human beings and angels. You will determine whom you will serve and obey. You will discover that Satan's influence can affect the way you think and what you speak. God uses the influence of Satan and his advocates to help you realize that God's way is the only way to live. You will come to realize that no earthly kingdom can ever survive because of Satan's influence and his desire to destroy your faith in Jesus Christ, all because you were created in the image of God. The good news is you can overcome Satan's influence and control your free will through the blood of Jesus Christ and obey the counsel of the Holy Spirit and not deny the power you have been given. About the Author Roy Chaney was born into a Christian family. Later his parents had three more sons. He married Sharon, and they have been married for over fifty-two years. The couple tried to have children and it looked like they would not be able to have any children. One Sunday morning, their pastor asked anyone wanting children to come up front to pray to God for his blessing on their family. They were prayed for and about ten months later, Sharon gave birth to a baby girl. They had been already married for five years, so they knew it was a miracle. Their son did not come for another seven years and after a lot of prayer. Another miracle. They now have five grandchildren. Roy served as an army medic in Vietnam and witnessed the consequences of Satan's influence on mankind. So many died around him and he knew God spared him. He retired from a newspaper after forty-two years. For most of his adult life, he was a Sunday school teacher. The Holy Spirit gave an understanding of God's plan to build his kingdom.
Believers know that when we die we enter heaven and will spend eternity there with God and the saints who have gone before us. But what actually happens in heaven? What are we going to be doing there? Won't it get boring at some point? According to Scripture, a large part of our experience of heaven will be a continual revealing of God's glory. Not just his glory in the moment, but during all of time. The mysteries of providence, the hidden movements of God throughout history, and the forgotten and unnoted works of even the most obscure of God's people will be unveiled so that we can see how wise, loving, gracious, and powerful our God is. And though we will experience perfection in heaven, we will never be omniscient, which means we will always be learning more about God's glory, inspiring us to return joyful praise and thanksgiving. If your vision of heaven has been limited to clouds and harps and angels, it's time to expand that view with the truth found in this biblically based look at the afterlife.

This book is about your original purpose for existence and the source of meaning behind your life. In these pages you will discover the Creator’s divine motivation, design, and mandate for His creation and your role in that creation. After reading this book, you will be equipped with the knowledge to answer some of the questions addressing the heart cries of humanity in our search for a better world. I am convinced also that you will come to believe, as I do, that there is hope for mankind, but only as we reconnect to the source of creation and our Creator’s original concepts for life on planet earth. It is this concern that this book will attempt to address. The goal of this book is to reintroduce the concepts, principles, and nature of true authentic kingdoms as presented by the Creator and show the superior and advantageous nature of kingdom as compared to any religion, political ideology, government system, or social program. Join me as we explore and understand the precepts and principles of “the Kingdom.”
Concise, pithy chapters with dozens of charts, highlighted summaries and study questions make Graeme Goldsworthy's introductory text enormously useful for understanding how the Bible fits together as the unfolding story of God's plan for salvation.
Scripture reveals a God who meets us where we are, not where we pretend to be. No More Faking Fine is your invitation to get honest with God through the life-giving language of lament. If you've ever been given empty clichés during challenging times, you know how painful it is to be misunderstood by well-meaning people. When life hurts, we often feel pressure--from others and ourselves--to keep it together, suck it up, or pray it away. But Scripture reveals a God who lovingly invites us to give honest voice to our emotions when life hits hard. For most of her life, Esther Fleece Allen believed she could bypass the painful emotions of her broken past by shutting them down altogether. She was known as an achiever and an overcomer on the fast track to success. But in silencing her pain, she robbed herself of the opportunity to be healed. Maybe you've done the same. Esther's journey into healing began when she discovered that God has given us a real-world way to deal with raw emotions and an alternative to the coping mechanisms that end up causing more pain. It's called lament--the gut-level, honest prayer that God never ignores, never silences, and never wastes. No More Faking Fine is your permission to lament, taking you on a journey down the unexpected pathway to true intimacy with God. Drawing from careful biblical study and hard-won insight, Esther reveals how to use God's own language to come closer to him as he leads us through our pain to the light on the other side, teaching you that: We are robbing ourselves of a divine mystery and a divine intimacy when we pretend to have it all together God does not expect us to be perfect; instead, he meets us where we are There is hope beyond your heartache, disappointment, and grief Like Esther, you'll soon find that when one person stops faking fine, it gives everyone else permission to do the same.
