The expenses of these local leaders who attended the school were paid by the farm and home bureau from funds appropriated for junior work by the Cayuga County Pomona Grange. Details were in charge of W. E. Davis, assistant county agricultural agent for Cayuga County. Livingston Increases Activities With arrangements made for the adequate financing of the work, and with the appointment of B. W. Emerson as county leader, Livingston County is planning increased junior project activities this year. The Livingston County bankers association has appropriated $1000, and other funds will be provided by the farm bureau and Pomona Grange. These, in addition to the money available thru the College and the state department of education, will finance the work for the remainder of the calendar year. Erie Also in Children's Work The board of supervisors for Erie County has appropriated $4000 to the farm and home bureau for junior extension work, which will be in charge of a county board of junior extension, representing the various organizations interested in this type of work.
