The interest of every individual to know his financial status has inspired me to write this book. This is a part of the Encyclopedia captioned as ‘Wealth & Prosperity’. It is the seventh book in the encyclopedia series. We have in this book tried to explain the combinations of wealth with an eye for the reader to understand the principles that decipher the quantum of wealth. In the beginning we have given a large number of examples which show the combinations that are instrumental in giving wealth. We have also outlined the combinations that generate wealth. From the third chapter onwards we embark upon analyzing a horoscope on the promise it holds for wealth and prosperity. It starts with explaining the impact of Signs and houses on there propensity as wealth providers. In basic predictive astrology the ascendant, second, fifth, ninth and eleventh house play critical role in predicting the wealth quantum. There are six chapters we have dedicated in the book explaining the impact of planets in houses and the placement of lords of ascendant, second, fifth, ninth and eleventh in different houses .In details the results have been written. This is the first basic principle that has to be understood and has been dealt at length.
Dasa gives a system whereby we see the results which impact the native in a time period. Each Dasha is controlled by one planet. It is the disposition and relationship of this planet, that the promised events are reflected. The results which a planet promises in its Dasa has to be studied by a careful analysis of the planet. The Vimshottari Dasha is a 120 year cycle of planetary position based on the position of Moon in one of the lunar mansions called Nakshatras. We have started the book explaining various Dasas. The first basic principles have been explained at length. In the next part we go in details, discussing the strength of the planet depending upon position of planets, lordship and various rules that modify the strength. Each Dasa and its predictive aspect are explained in details. It takes into consideration the sign in which the planet is posited. It also explains the effect of directional strength, state of the planet and the divisional strength. This will enable the reader to make an overall assessment of the planet whose Dasa is being analyzed for a native. The next part dwells with the rules that have to be followed while taking the impact of Sub Period in the major period (Dasa) of the planet. We have in details discussed factors that strengthen or weaken the result which is promised. Further the impact of other vectors, like the transit and strength have been explained.
In Vedic astrology, the associations the planets form or variations of how they are placed in a horoscope are referred to as yogas. Yoga literally means union or that which adds, joins or yokes. Astrologically, Yoga refers to planetary combinations or configurations and their special results, which affect the life of an individual. In traditional Indian ephemeris, known as Panchang, Yoga is also a particular division of time, arrived at by adding longitudes of the Sun and the Moon at birth. These are 27 in number, starting from Viskumbha to Vaidhriti, each governed by a different constellation or lunar-mansion, which are also 27 in number. In spiritual field, the word “Yoga” means training, taming and stimulating the body and mind with universal soul. In Ayurveda, the yoga of two or more medicines gives specific results. Yogas are one of the unique features of Vedic astrology. There are hundreds of yogas mentioned in various classical texts. Most of the yogas are formed of more than one planet, but all combinations do not mean a yoga formation. The idea behind these yogas is to equate the planets’ strength in a chart, and how & when they will produce their effects in a native’s life.
The Vargas or the Divisional Chart is an unique way of evaluating not only the real strength of the planets but the level of auspiciousness that the planets bestows upon a native. Without understanding and using the Divisional Charts with the Lagna chart the predictions on various aspects cannot be made. In the book the author has discussed Navamsha (D9), Dashamsha (D10) to the Shashtiamsha (D60) in details keeping in mind the predictive aspect of Astrology.
Transits are one of the main means used in horoscope reading. They are used to forecast future trend and developments. Astrological transit is about interpreting the ongoing movement of the planets as they transit the horoscope. These transits are studied in the Natal Charts to tell about the timing or fructification of the events. In this book the initial chapters deal with the basic understanding of the meaning of Transit, the rules to be applied and about the planets. We have also dealt with the rules to be applied in predicting the result of transiting planets. Basic Transit Rules of planets in Houses, Signs, Nakshatra and Divisional Charts is explained at length. The book then dwells in factors that modify the results of a Transit. It then goes into explaining the impact of the transiting inner planets. I have also gone in details explaining the impact of Jupiter, Saturn, Nodes and Mars in Transit with various permutation and combination.
The word ‘Profession’ brings into the horizon a belief of a person in his capabilities or inherent potention which a native has but also symbolizes specialization on a knowledge and academic preparations and finally it also brings forth the needs of livelihood and vocation. In the current environment, it is seen that a profession followed by an individual may not be akin to his inherent potential and with the number of fields increasing it is also very common to have individuals who have specialized in one field but are earning by engaging and adopting entirely different skill sets. It is common to have people in the Administrative Services who are Medical Graduates and Entrepreneurs with no specific knowledge skill but robust common sense. In this context, profession, determination and analyzing means a look at various aspects of the Horoscope. It means an analysis of education, knowledge, inherent nature, means of earning income and more complexed is determining the course and the graph of his professional achievement.
Marriage is a complex subject. The definition of marriage has changed with times. This book tries to deal with various aspects of marriage, love and interrelated subjects in a comprehensive way.
