"The two most important days of your life are the day you were born and the day you find out why." -Mark Twain Our basic need as individuals is to know who we are, but what if I were to tell you how you cannot know who you are until you know what you are and you cannot know what you are until you know where you came from, who created you and what He created you to be, the life He intended you to live. Our internal need to find our identity will never be satisfied outside of our person through talents, careers, relationships, or possessions and can only be found and met internally, in knowing our spiritual identity as sons of the one and only living God. Jesus came to show us the pattern of life created for us by the Father. He demonstrated this existence through the fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, and temperance. When you see Jesus, you see the Father, but what if, when you see yourself, you also see the Father? Dear Lord, Where Are You? will show you what it means to live the life that was intended without fear, worry, self-doubt, and unrealistic, worldly demands of the group. It's time we take our place; it's time we learn who we are and why we are here. Allow truth to unfold for you, spend time with it, absorb it, and I promise you, you will not come out the same way you went in, and suddenly all the questions you ever had about life will be fulfilled. You will wander no more.

Our journey through life is filled with the unexpected. We encounter unexpected joy, sorrow, trouble and pain. These are the experiences that shape us and make us the unique individuals we are today. We all struggle with our own personal demons, even though they may seem strange or insignificant to others. Pain is always lonely, whether physical, mental, emotional or spiritual, and no one except our Creator can fully understand. As we face the challenges of life, we come face to face with the need for something or someone greater than ourselves to sustain, guide and comfort us. Only when we fall before our mighty Creator and begin to comprehend his incredible power, love, and forgiveness, do we find what is missing and the huge hole in our heart and soul is filled. In this book we look into Jan's heart and share some of the pain and joy of her journey. It is her prayer that you, the reader, will see that our Heavenly Father is waiting with open arms to meet your every need as only He can. Even when we are not aware of His presences, or maybe don't even care, He is patiently waiting, seeking us and pulling us back to Him.

This book takes the reader through the different stages of one's life. In the end, she realizes that God has been there all of the time. Educators can use this book to teach about the stages of life, emotions, relationships, etc. Both young and old will enjoy the Biblical concepts such as the following: Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee. (Jeremiah 1:5, KJV) Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (Matthew 28:20, KJV) If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. (Psalm 139, KJV) For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. (Jeremiah 29:11, KJV) May you enjoy reading and sharing this with your loved ones, friends, and students. May it bring you comfort, joy, and peace throughout your entire life. God bless you. And please, keep educators in your prayers. It is a very demanding, self-sacrificing, and nonfamily-oriented profession. Find your hope and joy in knowing that you are doing the Lord's work on the battleground daily.

About the Book 12 Dear Lords was originally written in 2013 as an attempt to publicly voice a small amount of the unbelievable torture, humiliation, and experiences of the individual known as Ahsilight. As her knowledge, understanding and experiences of life and others expands and her relationship with a higher power grows, Ahsilight learns to persevere, not to give up, and to lean not only on her own understanding. These 12 entries are gathered from several journals kept over many years that Ahsilight selected particular inserts from and put together to bring an intimate conversation with herself and God into fruition, for the benefit of the public and herself and anyone that chooses to read. About the Author Ahsilight was created in the mind of a real person due to unimaginable suffering in the real world. Ahsilight was created in a State Mental Hospital and has since become a legal entity. Her name is unique and so is her story. She has been chosen to be the brand that is presented to the world to do what she thought she could not. Ahsilight is also a reciprocal and while the numbers add up so does the astrology behind the entity known as Ahsilight.
