Doctor Angel Carpenter is a doctor, but is he an Angel? Angel is the former leader of the gang called the Angels. He is deeply religious and tries to do the right thing, but the right thing is not always legal. Some claim he is an actual angel since his terminal cancer patients refuse to die, while others feel he should be behind bars. Angel developed a holistic method to increase the cure rate for a cancer drug that could save millions of lives, but he is arrested as a serial killer since his fingerprints are on the murder weapon. He keeps telling people he is not an angel, but the crowd surrounding the hospital and his apartment does not believe him. An anti-religious organization wants him dead, and this organization may be more difficult to treat than the cancer affecting his patients. They initially offered a million euros for his death and then increased it to five million. Assassins converge on Miami for an easy kill and a huge reward. They failed to realize one of the female cancer survivors is a member of a mafia family. She is indebted to Angel, and she pays her debts.
"Robert Miklitsch has convinced me. Sound and music in film noir are every bit as important as the visuals. Siren City drives home this argument with authority and elegance. Highly recommended."---Krin Gabbard, author of Hotter Than That: The Trumpet, Jazz, and American Culture --

My aspiration for romance inspired me to write Satisfaction. I wanted to show just how romantic and sensual I can be, especially at a young age. The readers probably missed the fact that Jermaine, which is the name of the main character in Satisfaction, is actually my middle name. I pictured myself as if I was in his situation. I wrote the book as if I was trying to get the love of my life back. I guess you could say that I based Satisfaction off my real-life experience with love. First, writing was a way to relieve my stress, and then it became a hobby when I started getting creative with it. Then I realized I could be the master of romance from the way Jermaine proposed to Nicole at the end. I did not realize how romantic I could be until I finished writing Satisfaction. I thought about what I had to do to go above and beyond for my girlfriend, my fiance, or my wife.

'Terrific' Publishers Weekly ‘The characters really made this book for me, the author’s attention to detail brought everything to life... a very cleverly written book with a well developed plot, fab characters and a wonderful setting.’ @mrsfegfiction ‘A pocket rocket of a crime novel... I knew what was going on until three pages before the end when I was proven HORRIFICALLY wrong.’ @nobooksgiven ‘A truly exciting, punchy and interesting read’ @reading_for_my_mind ‘It pulls you in and really makes you feel like you’re watching the book play out in your mind.’ Booklovelife ‘I really enjoyed that it was set in 1962, with plenty of references made from during that time. The decadent touch of the setting and the twists and upturns of this story are utterly absorbing!’ @nightfallmysteries
