The Telangana State Biodiversity Board under the UNEP-GEF-MoEFCC-ABS Project title "Strengthening the implementation of Biological Diversity Act and Rules with focus on Access and Benefit Sharing" has prepared the Telangana State Biodiversity Field Guide comprising the flora and fauna of the Telangana State for identification of various species during the preparation of People's Biodiversity Registers for conservation and preservation of biodiversity. The scientific institutions, other Governments, and research organizations have helped to shape the biodiversity field guide through their contributions during various meetings, interactions as well as through their comments and inputs to finalize the book.
