A true story of the 29 men who brought back a WWII LST in 2000-01 from Crete, Greece to Mobile, AL. Robert Jornlin was made Captain by the crew replacing the original Captain. This is the behind the scenes story as told by him. He has given over 600 spellbounding talks all over the USA. The ship was in terrible shape, 58 yrs. old. The first men found the ship in the Greek Navy 'bone yard.' I told my wife I would be gone only six weeks, but repairs, red tape, and many obstacles placed in the way by our government delayed the departure. The fifty man crew dwindled to just twenty-eight as the Captain in desperation signed on a History Channel video photographer as a crewman. These delays pushed the departure into early winter in the Mediterranean Sea and North Atlantic, but these veterans would not give up on LST 325 that beached at Sicily in '43 and was at D-day June 6, 1944. Average age of this crew now 72, started from Crete on Nov.14th for the U.S. This is their story.
An intoxicating blend of fairy tale magic, lively wit, and romance spice up this companion novel to Enchanted.

But try explaining that to an angry mob… Meanwhile, there’s a crazed killer targeting aristocrats. Karish has forfeited the Dukedom of Westsea to continue working as a Source, but Lee fears that technicality won’t matter to the murderer. It certainly doesn’t matter to Karish’s mother, who’s bound and determined that he take the title. Only by working together will Lee and Karish be able to figure out the weather, catch the killer before it’s too late, and most importantly…get rid of Karish’s mother.

Regardless of the strength of the nightmares that plague the world around him, he knows that it's only his decision that will determine the fate of men.

Nathan was different and Sally knew it. From his early childhood, Nathan was bursting with creativity and uncontainable energy, struggling not only with learning issues but also with anxiety and OCD. He saw the world through his own unique lens—one that often caused him to be labeled as “bad,” “troubled,” or someone in need of “fixing.” Bravely choosing to listen to her motherly intuition rather than the loud voices of the world, Sally dared to believe that Nathan’s differences could be part of an intentional design from a loving Creator with a plan for his life. She trusted that the things that made him different were the very things that could make him great. Join Sally and Nathan as they share their stories from a personal perspective as mother and son. If you are in need of help and hope in your own journey with an outside-the-box child, or if you’re an adult trying to make sense of your differences, you’ll find deep insight, resonance, and encouragement in the pages of this book. Dare to love and nurture the “different” one in your life.
