In this compilation, the authors begin by highlighting the recent developments in asymmetric 1,4- and 1,2- additions to α, β-unsaturated carbonyl compounds. The recent finding of Cu (I)-catalyzed asymmetric 1,2-addition of Grignard reagents to α, β-unsaturated carbonyl compounds, as well as aromatic ketones, has categorically revolutionized catalytic asymmetric reactions.This compilation also aims to use the well-known coordination preference of zinc in phthalocyanine and porphyrin ligands in correlation with supramolecular systems. The light-absorption process in dye-sensitized solar cells is studied using the time-dependent density functional theory.In recent years, a series of investigations on detonation wave formation in acetylene have been published. In these studies, it was shown that the formation of detonation proceeds entirely due to the energy released during the condensation of carbon nanoparticles during the growth of poly-aromatic hydrocarbons.
