Hannas (John) Weber died in Switzerland in 1721, and left 3 (or perhaps 4) sons, George, Jacob, Henry, and John, all of whom emigrated to the U.S. and settled in Lancaster co., Pennsylvania.
The Weber family begins with Thomas Weber who was born in 1615. He married Anna Frohlich and settled in Affeltrangen in Switzerland where they raised their four children, Johann, Jacob, Thomas and Barbara. Eventually the family left Switzerland for Germany. Johann, the eldest of Thomas and Anna's children married in Germany. Other ancestors can be traced back to Russia also. Catharina Elizabeth Theurer Weber who married Michael Weber, a descendant of Thomas Weber, emigrated from Russia to America along with her seven children in 1885. She made a homestead in Campbell County, South Dakota. This family history is on a compact disc which also includes pedigree charts, family group sheets and family pictures.
