Set in a world that reflects post-Vedic India, Vikraal takes up where Jaal, the first book of the Kaal Trilogy, ends. The lingering bars of the six-millennia-old Prison of Dreams are disintegrating around Aushij, the Sleeping God, making him increasingly aware of Arihant, his designated Foe. Half a year after his incredible metamorphosis in the Vakrini's Mind-City, Arihant is now on an unpredictable journey that takes him further on the road to becoming the ultimate warrior. Unexpected truths assail him at every turn - the searing fact of his own identity; the soaring joy of true love; the shock of his unforeseen vulnerability and, ultimately, the discovery and acceptance of his true self and purpose in the realm of the cosmic enigma whom some call the Oracle, and who calls itself Kaal - the governor of the universe. The intricate weave of conflicts and discoveries propels the protagonists towards an explosive climax that alters the very course of the Cosmic Game. This roaring adventure blends seamlessly with India's metaphysical traditions, creating a thrilling tale of action-packed mysticism.

Sri Guru Granth Sahib is generally known as the holy scripture of Sikhism, the world’s fifth largest religion. But this holy scripture is neither a storybook nor just the philosophy of the Sikh saints or prophets. It is more like a collection of divine revelations and hymns, expressing the feelings of love and devotion of the Sikh Gurus for the Supreme Being, along with the similar yearnings and longings of the devotees and saints from all faiths prevalent in Indian subcontinent during those times. The beauty of this 1430 page hymnal written in 22 different languages lies in the fact that while it spiritually connects the human mind to the original source of eternal bliss, it provides a very practical and effective way to live in love and harmony with other fellow human beings irrespective of their faith, color, caste, creed, or race. The following are a few examples of the views of eminent writers and scholars regarding Sri Guru Granth Sahib: “Mankind’s religious future may be obscure, yet one thing can be foreseen. The living higher religions are going to influence each other more than ever before, in the days of increasing communications between all parts of the world and branches of the human race. In this coming religious debate, the Sikh religion and its scriptures, the Sri Guru Granth Sahib will have something of special value to say to the rest of the world.’ Arnold Toynbee- Historian “I have studied the scripture of great religions, but I do not find elsewhere the same power of appeal to the heart and mind as I find here in these volumes [of Sri Guru Granth Sahib]. There is something strangely modern about these scriptures. They speak to the people of any religion or of none. They speak for the human heart and the searching mind.” Mrs. Pearl S. Buck- Nobel Laureate In Volume two of the “It Is The Same Light” series (SGGS pages 201-400), author Daljit Singh Jawa continues his humble effort to share the beauty of the SGGS with those who have limited familiarity with the language (Gurumukhi), history, or context. Thanks to S Daljit Singh ji for the great work which will benefit future generations understand Guru Ji’s message easily.” -Amarjit Singh, M.D., University at Buffalo, Buffalo, NY “A monumental undertaking, reflecting a lifetime of devotion to the Sri Guru Granth Sahib and to the scholarly study of its voluminous texts. Both its rendition of the original Gurmukhi script, with accompanying English transliteration, and its erudite commentary on each of the Granth’s many hymns mark this work as a stunning achievement which will benefit all serious students of the Sikh religion and of world religions in general.” -Barry Crawford, Ph.D., Washburn Univesity, Topeka, Kansas

Different stories, different emotions. The greatest fear in any love relationship is ‘fear of losing’ and one is not able to realise until the inevitable happens. The stories in this series deals with emotions, small incidents or phase of life that aptly depicts what usually goes wrong and why people part ways, never to meet again. The parting of the ways, of two people and the final goodbyes as they say, are the most difficult part to handle in any relationship. The unsaid words, the ‘sorry’, ‘don’t leave me’, ‘I won’t be able to have a life without you’, remain unspoken mostly out of ego and small misunderstandings created by people around the two individuals, be it parents or friends. Money, religion, caste and status along with any other reason is just a figment of imagination created by people who could not fulfil their own love dreams. Sometimes we love to love romances that end poorly. Enjoy reading the stories, all to be read and treasured as your own.
Thrilling and fast-paced, Jaal, Book I in the Kaal Trilogy, sets the stage for action of epic proportions. Aushij, Lord of Maya, was tricked into a prison of dreams many millennia ago by his siblings for causing chaos in the cosmos. But his power is so great that he still causes tremors in the world with his deceptions, and needs to be crushed. Arihant is the answer. A young warrior with divine powers, he is visualized by the universe as both Taarak - Saviour and Vinaashak-Destroyer. Jaal is Arihant's journey across lands and mindscapes- from innocence to experience, as he harnesses his faculties to perceive enemies both temporal and illusory. Dealing with Gods and Serpents, politics and obstacles, he must come to terms with the dizzying unfolding of his purpose and potential. Armed with merely a dagger and a staff, he confronts dangers with dexterity. Ultimately, he is looking for answers to the web of self and identity.
