This is a story written from two different perspectives: one of a husband and one of a wife. Our individual lives started from two diverse worlds and combined to become one life in 1987. We considered ourselves the typical, normal suburban family. As we grew in our marriage and focused on raising our children, we were determined to do so with God in first place and the kids in church. Unfortunately, the circumstances of life came into play a few years into our marriage and developed into a near cataclysmic end to two wonderful relationships: Our marriage to each other and our marriage to Christ. Jeff and Suzanne Coulter have been married since 1987. Jeff Coulter was born in 1966 and is from Williamsburg, Ohio. A devout Christian throughout his early adulthood, Jeff reached a crossroad with the death of his mother in 1988 and found himself turning away from God. On April 22nd, 2014 Jeff was nearly killed in a head on collision. Beating the odds and surviving the crash, one week later Jeff suffered multiple pulmonary emboli. Only 1 out of 20 survive such a traumatic incident. Jeff slipped into a void of nothingness; the absolute absence of the presence of God. A void filled with demonic beings and symbolic icons of hell and death. Miraculously surviving the crash and emboli, God also delivered Jeff from alcoholism and chronic depression. Through it all there was his wife Suzanne at his side as if she belonged there by God’s own invitation. Driving him along the way. Jeff has since rededicated his life to Christ and now dedicates himself to church ministries, online ministries and authoring diverse books.
As cops it’s sometimes difficult to maintain a positive outlook on life. You’re dealt every negative aspect that life has to offer, even on the inside of the Thin Blue Line. As Christians they’re even more scrutinized, not only on how they deal with others, but also how they deal with themselves. It’s exceptionally difficult to love others when everyone around you has nothing but contempt and hate for you, except for the few friends that you have on the inside of the Thin Blue Line. Daniel will reach a crossroad of faith and mental stability. He will have to make serious choices about his faith in Christ, his career and most of all his marriage. How we as Christians deal with the trials and tribulations of this life can best be told from a cop’s perspective. Cops have a code, a brotherhood that no other person can understand. They call it the Thin Blue Line for a reason. As Christians our stance in life is much the same. We can fold and not serve God, or we can take a stand and walk by faith. It’s also a code and a brotherhood. A brotherhood of God’s children. It can be equated as The Thin Blue Cross.
The Christian Experience answers some of the questions most people ask about what it means to be a Christian. What do I have to do? Where do I start? What should I expect? Why should I go to church? Can I trust people in church? Why is there so much suffering in the world? There are two camps that will be discussed in this book while discussing Christianity: “The Milk and the Meat of the Word.” If you aren’t familiar with the expression “The Milk,” it represents new or ‘baby’ Christians who are just starting out in their relationship with Christ and need to feed on “The Milk” of the Bible. “The Meat” represents the mature Christians who are established in their relationship with Christ and feed on “The Meat” of the Bible which is its deeper meaning. The walk with Christ can be confusing for new Christians and mature Christians can become complacent or even misguided. Our goal in writing The Christian Experience is to discuss the different aspects of Christianity and for the reader to come away with a more in-depth understanding of the subject matter. It is not intended to offend anyone or represent the absolute authority of what we as the authors believe is the only and absolute path to Christianity. On that note if you are offended by a topic in this book then it is probably speaking to your heart. Take a knee and examine your walk with Christ. All aspects of The Christian Experience are biblically based and meant to encourage new Christians and at the same time edify mature Christians. Though this book cannot possibly cover everything, it will help you focus on a few rudimentary and a few in-depth topics and hopefully give you a more insightful perspective to help with your personal walk of faith in Christ. As with all aspects of the Bible and our walk with Christ we should follow Paul’s word to Timothy. “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15. KJV

It bonded two hearts, becoming one devoted loving heart in commitment. In sickness, in health until death doeth us part. Vision how their love, family, devotion, and faith commit their undying love. As an artist paints a canvas, a wedding ring encircles. Their love never dwindled, the flame glowed, and flickering love remained. Two faithful people devote in harmony as a violinist plays melodic music, seeing two in love. Family and friends hear their music playing. Memories lasted, faith endured, their strength was stronger, and love prevailed. Until death doeth us part. Love never withered; instead it united their love. A wife stroked her husbands forehead, while he lay in intensive careno response. Dad had suffered a stroke on life support. Read how a mans eyes closed, with the body laying lifeless. Suddenly, his eyes opened wide in response to his loveDorothy. Fingertips of love, she whispered, Bun, I love you. The children love you. We need you. The nurse witnessed their love as he responded. He must be a man in love! Please continue as they were in lovea couple in love. Dads body was twisted from a stroke. He rushed to aid and rescue his love, his wife, dear Dorothy. He appeared almost as a man walking on stilts, gliding. His limp arm dangled; his physical prowess faded. Emerging, buffering, softening, he lifted her from harm. This is a story of protecting two love birds, two doves in love. This story will engage you as you sigh, perhaps cry. Fall in love with a couple, William and Dorothy, my parents. Experience their journey, their vows! This is about family sickness, pain, love, and death as faith endures and children honoring their parents, giving back the love they feel. Remember the artists canvas, wedding rings, vows, and violins play as the wedding rings bond their love. Mr. and Mrs. William Stoness love is exclusive. Thank you for accepting my invitation!
We live in a world full of challenges. The three graces can almost be seen as motors for Christian life in today's world, but the words faith, hope, and love have so many everyday uses that their technical, theological meanings are, for many, difficult to appreciate. Modern life also leaves many yearning for authenticity and meaning. Many religions have answered that need by calling to mind the image of a path. Always profound progressions, religious paths tend to be motivated either by practices (the act of walking the path) or focal points. Christianity has a focal point, an object, and it sees the three graces as distinctively content filled. The heart of this book is about helping people find the Christian path and their intellectual, emotional, and spiritual balance--an equilibrium that is sustained by a strong personal faith, an enduring hope for the future, and genuine love that will withstand the worst of times. It contributes to the category of Christian literature that provides a pattern for Christian living without surrendering the intellect to the more popular side of this genre.
My Journey is a true story of a young widow suddenly faced with the challenges of being alone in Cuba with forty-eight hours to leave the island with her two young sons and her husbands casket. What began as an adventure in the US Navy turned into a life changing event, opening new doors that proved there are no chance happenings. The power of her childhood faith foundation allowed her to find comfort by visualizing the images of the stained glass windows from her hometown church. Her faith in God transformed her into being the little lost lamb in the arms of the Good Shepherd, where she found strength and courage on her journey. The silence and pain of being alone enabled her to connect to the Christ in Gethsemane. The journey changed the twenty-seven-year-old country girl into a stronger and more loving woman without breaking her spirit. Cry, laugh, celebrate, and become inspired! My Journey is not all gloom and doom; however, it is an honest glimpse into the events that lead this family into a new life. This is inspiration for anyone who has loved and lost. It offers hope and joy for all those brave enough to stand up and praise God and thank him for the challenges in life.
