Dolphinity traces the lives of twins, separated at birth, as they grow up on opposite coastlines. Jennifer's is a life of privilege based in California, while Daniel grows up on a houseboat in the Florida Keys. There he develops a special bond with dolphins. As a result of a strange boating accident (where hes presume drowned), Daniel enters the realm of the dolphins. Witnessing his own transformation into dolphin form, Daniel learns that a sect of dolphins descended from Atlantis. The priests of that era mastered the mysteries of genetics, and altered their forms to withstand the Great Flood. Instead of letting Daniel drown, the dolphins elect to make him one with them. Witness to the growing devastation of the worlds oceans, it is Daniels destiny to one day reveal all that he encountered. Living a parallel life, Jennifer marries and raises two children. However, a health crisis sends her on a vision-quest to Florida where her path intersects that of her brother! The dolphins are able to use Jennifer's genetic template to reverse engineer Daniel's form. He then becomes a powerful voice, speaking on behalf of sacred ecology. The story of twins returned to wholeness serves as a key metaphor for our times.

Oz is imagining things. There’s no way billionaire publisher Andre Acour wants to co-father with a humble social worker. It's a pipe dream. And it’s unprofessional. Oz is supposed to counsel Andre about his lack of a mate, not daydream about becoming that mate. The cocky billionaire's smile, his firm handshake, his confidence, his build under his perfectly pressed suit -- Oz can't stop thinking about bearing Andre's baby. What if? Andre never met anyone like Oz. The snappy little social worker can stand his own against all of Andre’s tantrums, and he’s no airhead. Even his life story is pretty amazing. He walked away from a family fortune to start a life on his own. And he’s adorably nerdy. He’d make a perfect co-father. Andre never wanted anyone like this. Oz isn’t easy pickings. Billionaire or not, Andre has to prove himself. Can Oz and Andre overcome doubts, insecurities, and family secrets to become fathers together? Lonely Omega's Baby Wish is a 50,000-word feel-good mpreg romance. It has no shifters and no cheating. Cardiac rehabilitation is of key importance to ameliorate long-term morbidity and mortality resulting from cardiac intervention. However, much of the current literature is dense, unwelcoming and academic in style and format. For those physicians understanding the scope of cardiac rehabilitation there is a need to distill the guidelines and various management options available to them into a concise practical manual. Up until now, all references have looked at the general options, but there is definite need to investigate the practicalities of individual patient groups. This book fulfills the need for practical guidance among all professionals involved in the management of these patients, from residents and fellows of cardiology and internal medicine, surgical teams, physiotherapy professionals, critical care physicians and family medicine practitioners.
The First Chapters uncovers the origins of the first paragraph or chapter divisions in copies of the Christian Scriptures. Its focal point is the magnificent, fourth-century Codex Vaticanus (Vat.gr. 1209; B 03), perhaps the single most significant ancient manuscript of the Bible, and the oldest material witness to what may be the earliest set of numbered chapter divisions of the Bible. The First Chapters tells the history of textual division, starting from when copies of Greek literary works used virtually no spaces, marks, or other graphic techniques to assist the reader. It explores the origins of other numbering systems, like the better-known Eusebian Canons, but its theme is the first set of numbered chapters in Codex Vaticanus, what nineteenth-century textual critic Samuel P. Tregelles labelled the Capitulatio Vaticana. It demonstrates that these numbers were not, as most have claimed, late additions to the codex but belonged integrally to its original production. The First Chapters then breaks new ground by showing that the Capitulatio Vaticana has real precursors in some much earlier manuscripts. It thus casts light on a long, continuous tradition of scribally-placed, visual guides to the reading and interpreting of Scriptural books. Finally, The First Chapters exposes abundant new evidence that this early system for marking the sense-divisions of Scripture has played a much greater role in the history of exegesis than has previously been imaginable.

Manny had heard stories about Lion's Gate. From what he was told, it was a fitting name for a state prison. Lion's Gate had a reputation to house only the most violent criminals in the state. What went on inside of the walls of Lion's Gate took place at no other prison in the state of Arizona. It was the last facility that was actually run by the inmates themselves. All the guards did was pick up their checks and make sure no one tried to jump the fence. The guards could care less what the inmates did to each other. To them, it was a job that paid the bills and required very little of them at most times. They did what they had to do when they had to do it, but no more than that. Not being one to believe everything he was told, Manny still couldn't help but feel a nervous knot in his stomach tighten at the thought of actually beginning his sentence at Lion's Gate. He expected to start off on a medium-custody-level yard, where they allowed a lot of free time and offered self-help classes. He figured he would get a job in the kitchen washing dishes and would just stick to himself, do his own thing. If Lion's Gate ended up being the starting point of his journey, he somehow knew that his time would be spent much differently.
