Whenever a student decides to prepare for any examination, her/his first and foremost curiosity arises about the type of questions that he/she has to face. This becomes more important in the context of competitive exams where there is a neck-to-neck race. For this purpose, we feel great pleasure to present this book before you. We have made an attempt to provide all competitive exams Mathematics chapter-wise and type-wise questions asked in various SSC, Banks, etc. exams from 1999 to 2020 along with their solutions. Features Chapterwise and type-wise collection of past SSC, Banks, and other competitive exams question papers (1999-2020). Each chapter divides the questions into different types - Type 1, Type2 and Type 3 Solutions have been given with enough diagrams, proper reasoning for better understanding. Students must attempt these questions immediately after they complete the chapter in their class/school/home during their preparation.
Artificial intelligence, or AI, now affects the day-to-day life of almost everyone on the planet, and continues to be a perennial hot topic in the news. This book presents the proceedings of ECAI 2023, the 26th European Conference on Artificial Intelligence, and of PAIS 2023, the 12th Conference on Prestigious Applications of Intelligent Systems, held from 30 September to 4 October 2023 and on 3 October 2023 respectively in Kraków, Poland. Since 1974, ECAI has been the premier venue for presenting AI research in Europe, and this annual conference has become the place for researchers and practitioners of AI to discuss the latest trends and challenges in all subfields of AI, and to demonstrate innovative applications and uses of advanced AI technology. ECAI 2023 received 1896 submissions – a record number – of which 1691 were retained for review, ultimately resulting in an acceptance rate of 23%. The 390 papers included here, cover topics including machine learning, natural language processing, multi agent systems, and vision and knowledge representation and reasoning. PAIS 2023 received 17 submissions, of which 10 were accepted after a rigorous review process. Those 10 papers cover topics ranging from fostering better working environments, behavior modeling and citizen science to large language models and neuro-symbolic applications, and are also included here. Presenting a comprehensive overview of current research and developments in AI, the book will be of interest to all those working in the field.
Generative AI for Entrepreneurs in a Hurry is a comprehensive guide to understanding and leveraging AI to achieve success in the business world. Written by entrepreneur and AI expert, Mohak Agarwal, this book takes the reader on a journey of understanding how AI can be used to create powerful, high-impact strategies for success. With the rise of large language models like gpt-3, midjourney and chatGPT, Agarwal provides a comprehensive guide to leveraging these tools to create new business models and strategies. The book provides step-by-step guidance on how to leverage AI to create new opportunities in marketing, customer service, product development, and more. Generative AI for Entrereners in a Hurry is the perfect guide for entrepreneurs looking to take advantage of the power of AI. The book houses a list of more than 150 start-ups in the Generative AI space with details about the start-up like what they do founders and funding details
Discrete subgroups have played a central role throughout the development of numerous mathematical disciplines. Discontinuous group actions and the study of fundamental regions are of utmost importance to modern geometry. Flows and dynamical systems on homogeneous spaces have found a wide range of applications, and of course number theory without discrete groups is unthinkable. This book, written by a master of the subject, is primarily devoted to discrete subgroups of finite covolume in semi-simple Lie groups. Since the notion of "Lie group" is sufficiently general, the author not only proves results in the classical geometry setting, but also obtains theorems of an algebraic nature, e.g. classification results on abstract homomorphisms of semi-simple algebraic groups over global fields. The treatise of course contains a presentation of the author's fundamental rigidity and arithmeticity theorems. The work in this monograph requires the language and basic results from fields such as algebraic groups, ergodic theory, the theory of unitary representatons, and the theory of amenable groups. The author develops the necessary material from these subjects; so that, while the book is of obvious importance for researchers working in related areas, it is essentially self-contained and therefore is also of great interest for advanced students.
This volume constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 8th IFIP WG 11.2 International Workshop on Information Security Theory and Practices, WISTP 2014, held in Heraklion, Crete, Greece, in June/July 2014. The 8 revised full papers and 6 short papers presented together with 2 keynote talks were carefully reviewed and selected from 33 submissions. The papers have been organized in topical sections on cryptography and cryptanalysis, smart cards and embedded devices, and privacy.
