This little book is about time - our treasured time, our gift of life. It is about the time we have with our children and how we keep balance with everything else in our lives. Time only moves forward; it does not slow down. We have to balance our lives around it. Our children are so important in this time of ours. I know because I am a mother of three lovely daughters and a grandmother to seven amazing grandchildren. I have balanced my time well in the past, and I am very grateful. A balanced life of time means quality life shared and spent for ourselves and our partner, children, parents, friends, animals, home, and more. There is a lot of balancing that we do. Our children need our special time, love, and guidance because they are our future and our world. In my little book, you will meet King Neptune’s family with two new members, the dugong and the sunfish. They are going to show you their special times. As you meet each character, they will bring a smile to your children’s face.
WHEN EARL WAS KING NEPTUNE is a keenly insightful account of the author's family, and of his personal experiences, observations and intersections with people, places and events in the last half of the 20th century in the Northeast portion of the United States. His story is told with great interpretative skill, wit and occasional humor and at times considerable cynicism. Part history, sociology and biography, the people, places and events, along with the author's sharp personal observations, that make up When Earl Was King Neptune, will stay with the reader long after the book is finished and put aside. They are of the life and mind before cyberspace took control

Olli, the young octopus, is a curious and smart creature living in the ocean. He is always looking for adventures and meeting new friends. His classmates, the guppies, are usually hanging out with him. They get invited to King Neptune’s party for their teacher, a mermaid. They meet a hungry shark and help Olli find a new home. They have a silly day, a trip into the abyss; meet humans, a stingray and many more interesting underwater animals. One important task for them and their teacher is their help to clean up the ocean, a small group accomplishing a large task to free their underwater home from the litter in it. The rhyming stories are most entertaining with a few sprinkles of actual facts woven into them. The splendid illustrations will bring it all to life and soon Olli finds his way into everyone’s heart.
A tale of the underwater sea creatures promoting their home waterway to tourists and ending up with a problem. The sea creatures all work together to fix the problem before king Neptune returns.

Skip only receives a portion of his leprechaun powers when he turns sixteen, but that doesnt stop him from sneaking out of his grandparents tree home on an important quest. A few years earlier, his parents had disappeared, and he has wondered where theyve gone ever since--so he strikes out to find them. But things take a disastrous turn when he drinks an evil brew at a pub in Dublin Town. He gets drunk and passes out in a travel trunk of a man sailing to America in search of a new beginning, and he becomes a stowaway. His tomfoolery aboard the ship, however, almost costs him and others their lives, but he remains determined to find his missing parents. When he finds out theyre being held prisoner by an evil man running a traveling medicine show, he must find a way to free them. To do that, hell need his full leprechaun powers and perhaps even the help of two mortals--a leprechauns sworn enemy. Hell also need plenty of Irish luck to make it back home alive with his parents.
