Thomas White was born in about 1599, probably in England. He was living in Weymouth, Massachusetts by 1636. He had five known children. He died in 1679. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Massachusetts.
Thomas White (1599-1679) emigrated from Devonshire, England to Weymouth, Mass. in 1630. He was the father of five children. His son Joseph 1635-1706) of Mendon married Lydia Rogers and they were parents of six children. Their son Joseph, Jr. (1662-1756) married Lydia Copeland (1661-1729). Their descendant Antipas White (1760- 1832) who married Lucinda Brewster, was the Revolutionary patriot who lived and died at Pomfret, Connecticut after serving in the war. Several generations of descendants are given. Family members lived in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Minnesota and elsewhere.
