Things to ponder is a book derived of revelations birthed through the obidence of living a spiritualy mature life before the lord. Every word contained in these pages are colthed in experience, and are not just mere words. Th ey are truly thoughts worth pondering, they have caused me to be transformed daily into the image of Jesus Christ.
Some random thoughts to ponder.
The Tree of Life The tree of life is so like man, ever stretching to the skies Its branches ever reaching upwards, as though to heaven above Like mans quest here on earth, to reach for that high unknown The tree requires the staples of life, for its very existence here But man in his slight wisdom, knows these details all too clear The tree roots, securely planted, are not allowed to roam But mans feet here on earth. Have mobility all their own Unlike the tree, man does possess a single separate entity A brain you see, though seldom used, a total shame indeed The tree of life depends on man, for its daily lifes survival Man depends on his own lifes skills to hopefully see his tomorrow Which is a sad virtue, for his thinking process is not always clear He makes good and bad decisions, its effects are not yet known Man should take his lifes lessons, from the tree of life pursuit As our single lifes true purpose, to reach for heaven above As the tree stretches forth its limbs, ever skyward, in its growth We should heed this very lesson, and praise the Lord above For all that He has done for mankind and this our earth as well
This book is a collection of adages, proverbs & poems I have found over the years. Some of the items contain a lot of wisdom within a few words, some are thought provoking & some are just plain funny. I hope you enjoy it!
It is truly a blessing to have this book published at this time. The Lord Assured me that the battle was his. Many People Expected Me Not To Become An Achiever. Mean-while, the spirit of God assured me “There is A Season And A Time For Everything, And In Due-Season You Will Reap If You Faint Not” and that’s what kept me content. I had to operate in the fruit of the spirit while knowing the thoughts and true intents of men and women’s hearts. I encourage each one of you to never sleep on the spirit of God; it doesn’t matter if you’re a pastor, bishop, prophet, prophetess or even the pope God will reveal your thoughts to his people. AND THAT’S WORTH PONDERING...

“When reading through Wise Words to Ponder, you will ponder at the depth of the philosophy, wisdom and humor Eric Wei has assembled. This is a truly enjoyable book.” --- Pacific Book Review “This collection offers wisdom stemming from many different lives, along with humor and courage gleaned from the best of the past. Overall, this book is a great gift of wisdom, compassion, and truth for the darkest of times. Recommended.” --- The US Review of Books A short saying can contain profound wisdom. A good quote often has a play of words and is short and crisp. More important, it should be inspirational and rich in wisdom and one which you can draw upon as you move on in life. If you like quotes, you will also like the uplifting verses collected in this book. It is hoped that this collection will be a useful companion that you can turn to for solace, encouragement, a change of perspective, or just for a laugh, or to pick a quote or verse to share with someone. In Eric Wei’s first book, Lessons From Tales, he compiled short stories and jokes which we can learn something from. In this second book, he picked the best of the best quotes and verses savored from various sources. Eric loves quotes and verses which are rich in meaning. The sequel, More Wise Words To Ponder, is available
The stories related in this collection share a common theme, that is, they describe incidents in which the main characters consistently display the ability and the courage to say or to do ‘the right thing,’ no matter what. By exemplifying virtues such as piety, integrity, honesty and self-discipline, these people confirm to us that standing up for what is right during times of challenge and controversy is the best way to teach others. They bring truth to the adage that states: ‘Setting an example is not the main means of influencing another, it is the only means.’
