Excerpt from The Works of John Moore, M.D, Vol. 7 of 7: With Memoirs of His Life and Writings My Dear Sommers, I Found your letter, as I expected, at the post-house at Bern, from whence I proceeded directly to Lausanne. If the pleasing company in which I spent the night had not increased my impatience for setting out, I should have been tempted to a longer stay here, on purpose to witness the happiness of a young couple who are to be married within a few days.
