Didama Webb (1793-1857), daughter of John and Mary, married James Webb (1790-1867), son of Elisha and Sarah. Descendants lived in Tennessee, Virginia, and elsewhere.
Theophilus Simonton was born in about 1685 in North Ireland. He married Mary Smith. They emigrated in about 1725 and settled in Lewes, Delaware. They had six children. Theophilus died in 1754 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Descendants and relatives lived in Delaware, Ohio, North Carolina, Georgia, Nebraska, Texas and elsewhere.
Family history and genealogical information about the descendants Isaac Denton Cantrell and Sindrilla Cope. Isaac was born 17 February 1847 in DeKalb Co., Tennessee. He was the son of John A. Cantrell and Nancy Webb. Sindrilla was born ca. 1857 in White Co., Tennessee. She was the daughter of Harris Bradford Cope and Didama Webb. Isaac Cantrell married Sindrilla Cope 28 November 1870 in DeKalb Co., Tennessee. They lived in Tennessee and were the parents of six sons and four daughters. Descendants lived in Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma and elsewhere.
William and Edward Bethell were living in Virginia about 1750. Both died before 1760. They may have been brothers but this is unknown. Information concerning many of their descendants some of whom favored Quaker beliefs and settled later in Pennsylvania are included in this volume. Later descendants moved to Texas, Oklahoma and elsewhere. Today they live throughout the United States.
William Allen was born in about 1692 in York County, Virginia. His parents were William Allen and Ann. He married Hannah Watson in about 1712 and they had four children. She died in about 1719. He married Mary Hunt Minge (1695-1763), daughter of William Hunt and Tabitha Underwood and widow of Robert Minge, in about 1721. They had nine children. William died in 1752 in Buckingham County, Virginia. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia, Tennessee, Texas and Oklahoma.

William Taylor, Sr. (ca. 1740-1820's) moved from Virginia to North Carolina and then to Wilkes (later Elbert) County, Georgia in or about 1784. Descendants lived in Georgia, Tennessee, Indiana, Iowa, Arkansas, California and elsewhere.
George W. Cantrell was born in 1838 in DeKalb County, Tenn. He married Martha E. L. Carver in 1868 in Wilson County, Tenn. Their descendants have remained largely in Tennessee and other southern states.
Reverend Jesse Dodson was probably born in Fauquier County, Virginia, November 22, 1752 and died November 22, 1843 in McMinn County, Tennessee. Includes Bonner, Bottoms, Chisum, Christian, Gribble, Jennings, McGregor, Powell, Swann and allied families.
