One summer day, Boston forensic psychiatrist Paul Lucas gets a call from his social worker wife, Abby: A nine-year-old girl has gone misisng. Paul, an expert interrogator, is called in to help evaluate the testimony of the only witness: a homeless woman who happens to be a paranoid schizophrenic. Further interviews with other possible witnesses go nowhere, frustrating detectives and calling into doubt Paul’s role in the case. Believing the girl is alive but soon to die, Paul is pushed to the brink of a professional abyss—harangued by local media, distrusted by police, and pressured to save the day by Abby, whose stake in the search becomes deeply personal. With time running out, Paul has to make a choice: to uphold the central oath of his profession or to do whatever it takes to find the girl—even if he must crack the mind of a vulnerable patient, and risk everything he has in the process.

Criticizes the way history is presented in current textbooks, and suggests a more accurate approach to teaching American history.
For too many centuries, the Catholic Church has been teaching lies to the innocent people who apparently are unable to think clearly for themselves. Catholic clergymen pretend to be "representatives of God," with power to forgive the sins of other human beings, and also to transform the host, and the wine into the body and blood of Jesus Christ, in order for the faithful to eat and drink it as cannibals. They also pretend that their mass is a repetition of the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, when Jesus died and resurrected almost two thousand years ago. They are also teaching several other lies, wanting people to accept the great number of "saints" and "virgins," who really are just dead people. God the Father forbids us to communicate with dead persons, without exception. The most important lies are refuted in this book, not by the author, but by the Bible and the Gospels, because The Bible never lies.
This remarkably eye opening book for anyone interested in comparative religion, history and human psychology may find many surprises that challenge what many once believed to be absolute truths. This work reflects a meticulous and painstaking effort to present the findings clearly, concisely and thoroughly as a result of the study of comparative religious ideas, history and the psychological effects which impact adverse results in our present day thinking and correcting errors that crept into history. This effort is not intended to deride people and certainly not to mock anyone's beliefs. The intent is obviously to point out false charges, misconceptions and outright lies are in themselves deriding and mocking and a most odious thing. This book should prove to be a very valuable asset to mankind. People should be aware of what in fact has been taught to mankind as a result of studying this book which efforts to dispel darkness upon us all. May Gods Peace and Blessings Be With You All.
