In recent times, many people have come to realize that this world is approaching its end. Most believe that GOD is in control of how it will end, and they are right! Not only is GOD in control, He has a Master Endtime Plan for this earth and its peoples. Moreover, in His Holy Word, the Bible, GOD has described His plan; He has described it very clearly and in great detail. This book desribes the entire Endtime Scenario, making it so simple anyone can understand it. It reviews the scriptures that describe each major Endtime happening and other scriptures that explicitly define the chronological sequence for those happenings. It identifies several calendar timelines within the scriptures that measure the precise times between various Endtime happenings. To give confidence in its conclusions, it identifies four separate sets of Scriptures that clearly define the sequence for the events that will lead to CHRIST'S return and the Christian Rapture/Ressurection. Everyone, even those who are not familiar with either the Bible or the Christian theology, should easily understand this book. They will understand the entire Endtime Scenario that JESUS CHRIST foretold, the major happenings that will take place, the sequence in which they will happen, and the specific scriptures that describe all these things. Moreover, they will understand how all of these things relate to GOD'S Covenants and His labors of the past 6000 years. They will see that all of the Endtime happenings are just the grand finale of those labors. Most importantly, each reader will not only allow what is going to happen in the Endtimes, he or she will know how they can control their own eternal destiny.
Our critically acclaimed smash hit Cartographies of Time is now available in paperback. In this first comprehensive history of graphic representations of time, authors Daniel Rosenberg and Anthony Grafton have crafted a lively history featuring fanciful characters and unexpected twists and turns. From medieval manuscripts to websites, Cartographies of Time features a wide variety of timelines that in their own unique ways, curving, crossing, branching, defy conventional thinking about the form. A fifty-four-foot-long timeline from 1753 is mounted on a scroll and encased in a protective box. Another timeline uses the different parts of the human body to show the genealogies of Jesus Christ and the rulers of Saxony. Ladders created by missionaries in eighteenth-century Oregon illustrate Bible stories in a vertical format to convert Native Americans. Also included is the April 1912 Marconi North Atlantic Communication chart, which tracked ships, including the Titanic, at points in time rather than by their geographic location, alongside little-known works by famous figures, including a historical chronology by the mapmaker Gerardus Mercator and a chronological board game patented by Mark Twain. Presented in a lavishly illustrated edition, Cartographies of Time is a revelation to anyone interested in the role visual forms have played in our evolving conception of history
Traces the progress and regress of the world's civilizations over the past thousand years and shows how the capacity of one people to influence another has shifted geographically.
Bible prophecy expert Ron Rhodes offers an easy-to-understand yet detailed chronology and explanation of end-times events. The chapters are arranged around the major end-times themes: the rapture, the tribulation, the millennial kingdom, and the eternal state. Each chapter begins with a list of the specific events it covers, making this an extremely user-friendly chronological guide to end-times biblical prophecy. Rhodes allows for various interpretations among Christians. Yet the sequence he describes is faithful to the biblical text, based on a literal approach to prophecy, and held by many Bible scholars. As readers discover that they really can understand Bible prophecy, they will come to love and trust the Scriptures like never before.
I’m fascinated with Ancient History because there are continuous new discoveries which push back the dawn of civilization by thousands of years. In the last couple of decades, the discoveries at Gobekli Tepe in eastern Turkey pushed back man-made structures to the time period of 9,000-11,000 B.C. Thousands of years before the next know civilizations existed. This book includes my research on ancient sites around the world, underground structures, giants, the destruction of civilization about 10,500 B.C., the real Atlantis, and out of place objects which can be millions of years old. With this collection of a wide variety of information I decided that what is needed is a full timeline of intelligent life on Earth from millions of years ago to the present. There are a lot of gaps in this information but enough records, findings, and discoveries exist to propose an initial timeline of intelligent life on Earth going back hundreds of millions of years. Yes-I’m saying intelligent life has existed on Earth that long, and since humanity and even primates don’t exist in those times at all, aliens must have lived on the Earth at that time. There are three parts to this book: Part One - Millions of Years Ago This includes stories of aliens existing on Earth in our history, and many out of place objects made by intelligent beings, and the fossil record which provides supporting evidence that intelligent life did exist at those times. Part Two - The Unknown Civilizations of Man Here we have evidence of structures built by man but way before any accepted records that civilization or man made constructions existed. Some of these things may go back 100,000 years ago. Part Three – Post Ice Age Civilizations This part includes evidence that the Younger Dryas event was actually comets striking the Earth which caused major disasters and probably the destruction of civilizations about 10,500 B.C. My intention is that this timeline will provide a skeleton of mankind and intelligent life’s early history on Earth which can be filled in overtime to become much more detailed and prove the truth of this point of view to skeptics worldwide.
This book provides a guide for understanding the time line of the book of Revelation as John presents it. This includes a closer look at the seven churches of Asia Minor as well as a brief review on the history of the Rapture doctrine and its origin. Although overlooked by traditionalists, the image of the beast that can speak could actually be already with us. This image that can speak was first introduced on October 6, 1927 (the jazz singer) at the world’s fair as the first feature film talkie, then escalating into our modern-day AI electronics. As far as being put to death for not worshipping the image of the beast goes, that will come in due time. The time line of these and other events speaks volumes as these events started six years before Adolf Hitler became the fuhrer of Nazi Germany. That German political title fuhrer carries the connotation of messiah, hence “national deliverer.” Six years after Adolf Hitler usurps power, WWII ignites as extreme inflation collapses the world’s financial institutions, culminating into the Great Depression between 1927 and 1939. The Great Depression is not the only possible explanation for this “deadly wound” but might include something as simple as a segment in a movie as the actor seems to receive it as if it were a deadly wound but gets up and lives on after the movie’s director calls, “Cut!” Especially with CGI, this only gets more extreme. This and other theories are based on the fact that the beast of Revelation is clearly a man rising out of the sea as the sea is many people. The false prophet rises out of the earth, being the nations sweeping up the world in an ecumenical movement with the deification of love. This book will revisit the subject of where the northern ten tribes of Israel migrated to after their divorcement and disbursement from the area of their captivity by the Assyrians. Later, these same northern ten tribes—not called Israel but Bit-Khumri by the Assyrians migrated with the Israelites into Scythia. However, before the bulk of these ten tribes migrated northwesterly, some claim they declined an invitation back to Jerusalem to help the Jews (Judah) rebuild the Second Temple under Zerubbabel, Ezra, and Nehemiah (Ezra 1:1–6, 2 Esdras 13:41–45). In this study, the reader will be provided with information for those with an appetite for God’s Word, learning the meaning of biblical numbers and much more.
Are these the last days? Could Jesus return at any time to establish his thousand-year reign on earth? What is the nature of Christ's millennial kingdom referred to in the book of Revelation? What must happen before Jesus returns, and what part does the church play? Three predominant views held by evangelicals seek to answer these and related questions: premillennial, postmillennial, and amillennial. This book gives each view a forum for presentation, critique, and defense. Besides each contributor's personal perspective, various interpretations of the different positions are discussed in the essays. Three Views on the Millennium and Beyond lets you compare and contrast three important eschatological viewpoints to gain a better understanding of how Christianity's great hope, the return of Jesus, is understood by the church. The Counterpoints series provides a forum for comparison and critique of different views on issues important to Christians. Counterpoints books address two categories: Church Life and Bible and Theology. Complete your library with other books in the Counterpoints series.

History versus science, history versus history, or history with science--who has it right? In this book, you will be challenged to think differently about BC history. Discover a calendar that is over five thousand years old and how the younger calendars go with it in this timeline. Discover a reason why different dates are assigned to the same event. Explore why the Second Temple of Judaism which stood partly BC and partly AD for about 420 years can have a start date in the 500s BC and 300s BC. Discover concurrent event reading of the Bible as it relates to history. Discover the accuracy preserved by forefathers and more. With the use of the Gregorian calendar beginning in the 1500s, we read BC history with dates that go backward as events move forward. This is exactly the opposite of our current dates where the dates move forward as events move forward. In this book there is a BC to AD timeline of the Bible, some history and some prophesied events. As you read, you will go on a journey through history, and put together past and present through what was written down about events and prophesied events. 157
Given that the lying serpent of Genesis 3:1 appears after its two previous chapters without directly conveying how, why, or when the fall of the “serpent” took place before the fall of Adam (in 3:6), it is understood that a historical overlay or insertion of text that could clarify the “how, why, or when,” after the 1:1 creation, has been Divinely withheld or distanced from these few opening chapters of the Bible. Theoretically, if God had inspired the authors and compilers of Genesis 1-3 differently, meaning, to include such details, where might such details be overlayed or inserted? Regardless of the answer, any place where the details belong, anywhere between Genesis 1:1 and 3:1, could legitimately be called a gap, a term that is, then, being necessarily misrepresented when it is either implied as or strongly held as being a bad (unscriptural) word. Obviously, then, all cognizant students of the Bible believe in a gap, regardless of whether or not such students believe that they will, on this side of eternity, ever know where such details truly belong before Genesis 3:1. Thus, regarding this topic, the ultimate question is, “Which gap location is the most exegetically sound?” One might also ask, “Does it matter?” The answer is yes. To coin the somewhat confrontational essence of the Gospel truth itself, “Believe it or not,” this ultimate-beginning of evil topic, being tethered to the age-of-the-earth discussion, as well as to other misunderstood topics along the Bible’s timeline, composes—yes—crucially evangelical subject matter, necessarily making it as relevant and practical as any Bible topic could be. For though there are indeed non-negotiable Scripture truths that worldly-minded individuals reject outright, “the problem” is quite unnecessarily compounded when dramatically untrue matters evoke a potential biblical convert to instead think, Well, if that [such as the unscriptural notion that the universe is approximately 6000 years old] is what ‘the Bible teaches,’ then forget the whole bloomin’ biblical enchilada! Herein, author Martin Koszegi calls curative attention to traditionally embedded preconceptions about some important particulars related to origins, end-times, and a whole lot in between, that are worthy of sincere revisitation by those who care enough, by those who have more in common with the Issacharian and Berian types of old than with some of Christendom’s popular errors that the Church would do well to come into the unity of faith about. The intent of this work, then, so says Martin Koszegi right along with a body of all those like-minded, is that it would be so.
