Elias E. Sexton was born ca. 1809 in South Carolina. He married Celia Harrison (born 24 July 1813 in Georgia) sometime prior to the year 1835. They lived in Lowndes (now Crenshaw) Co., Alabama and were the parents of eleven known children. Descendants lived primarily in Alabama.
