Its imperfections and short comings, so far as I am responsible for them, I trust you will attribute to lack of time, on my part, rather than of good-will. Your answers to my circular were, as usual, somewhat meagre, but it was pleasant to have all but four of our ninety-seven sur yiying graduates send some answer, however short. 1 wish to thank particularly those who wrote me letters. Since last Commencement we have lost from our little band Thomas Sergeant Perry. Requiescat in pace! I felt sure that you would like to see a picture of our dear friend and hostess of former years, Mrs. Lilian Hosford Farlow, who died last Autumn. Please do not forget to notify me of any errors of commission or omission in this book, and any suggestions at any time I will thankfully receive. Let me express my gratitude for all the kind things which you have said to me in your letters. All health and happiness for the coming year!
