Only one Dark Knight remain, but that is enough to cause problems for the Alliance. Even the Council of Wizards are cautious to face such an adversary. With the final battle close at hand Alaric has to find the Onyx stone if he is to have any chance against Nyrra. He must conquer all his fears if he is going to succeed. The Alliance is in Remidia, but needs to travel to Avalon to embattle the Evil One's hoards in the final battle. The first time was a ruse, but there is no doubt this time the final battle will be won or lose.
The Ruby Stone has disappeared and no one knows where it has gone. The Prophecy has failed and now Alaric must work out his next destination. To save the Seven Kingdoms he needs to find the stone before the Evil One does. The Alliance Army stands on the brink of battle with Nyrra's forces. A mysterious curtain of fog shields them and only Bern can see through its evil. Something is changing inside of him and if the Alliance is going to survive they must take notice. A new challenge has befallen the forces of good and they must succeed or else the Evil One shall rule for eternity as the journey continues.
Alaric has returned from Castalia with the Topaz stone to heal Alena, if he can. A task that is vital to his journey, but he may already be too late. The Alliance must march on Castalia where a Dark Knight controls the largest army in the Seven Kingdoms. The walls of Castalia have never been breached and victory will be Bern's biggest challenge to date. It is time for the wizards to leave their island and join the army if the Alliance is going to have any chance of winning the final battle. It is going to take all of Alaric's skills to convince them.
The Alliance sits on the edge of Jarrat. The Dark Knight Ra'naroz is in control of Queen Oriana inside the castle. One wrong move would see her death and the death of many others. Alaric has returned to join the army and his first priority is to rescue Alena and Eldred from the clutches of the Evil One. If he is going to succeed in his quest he knows that both must survive. The prophecy sits on a knife edge and Alaric must travel to Castalia if he is going to succeed, whilst the Alliance must free Jarrat from the enemy.
With the Dark Knight Za'aroz dead there is only one Dark Knight left alive. The Alliance must march on Remidel to free the kingdom from the yoke of the Evil One. Being so close to home Bern must decide if he stays on the path or return home to Arsiliac to see his family, a decision that may change the fate of the Seven Kingdoms. Alaric has found the Opal stone and it has unlocked his mind. Memories and a power he never knew he had are now available to him and he must undertake a journey to discover the truth of the prophecy.
The Dark Knight Na'garoz has stolen the prophecy and taken it south. Alaric must decide whether he tries to recover the prophecy or to use the Jade Dagger to find the next Stone of Power. The wrong decision would mean the death of them all. The army has secured Kiarome and freed the King from the thrall of the Dark Knight Fenaroz. Now Bern needs to decide where to move to army next. The decision is one he would hope the strange entity would make for him, but it would be one he would need to make himself. New friends and new enemies await both Alaric and Bern on their journey to defeat the Evil One. If they fall then all is lost.

From the acclaimed author of Floating in My Mother’s Palm and Children and Fire, a stunning story about ordinary people living in extraordinary times—“epic, daring, magnificent, the product of a defining and mesmerizing vision” (Los Angeles Times). Trudi Montag is a Zwerg—a dwarf—short, undesirable, different, the voice of anyone who has ever tried to fit in. Eventually she learns that being different is a secret that all humans share—from her mother who flees into madness, to her friend Georg whose parents pretend he’s a girl, to the Jews Trudi harbors in her cellar. Ursula Hegi brings us a timeless and unforgettable story in Trudi and a small town, weaving together a profound tapestry of emotional power, humanity, and truth.
The magical and spiritual uses of the seven sacred gemstones--diamond, sapphire, emerald, jasper, topaz, ruby, and amethyst • Explores each sacred gem’s effects on the seven facets of the soul and their corresponding virtues • Reveals their spiritual and therapeutic uses, the meaning of their colors, their ties to the chakras, and their historical use in amulets, talismans, and other magical tools • Outlines the basics of Seven Ray Science and the properties of each of the Seven Rays Taught solely in secret for millennia, the Science of the Seven Rays was introduced outside of the ancient mystery schools of Western and Hindu tradition by some of the great occultists of the late 19th and early 20th century: H. P. Blavatsky, Manly Hall, C. W. Leadbeater, and Alice Bailey. Based on the soul’s seven-faceted nature, the Seven Ray system underlies metaphysical traditions around the world through its connections with the seven musical notes in the scale, the seven days in the week, the seven chakras, the seven colors of the rainbow, and the seven sacred planets. Laying out the key principles behind this spiritual science, Michel Coquet explores the seven sacred gemstones of the Seven Rays--diamond, sapphire, emerald, jasper, topaz, ruby, and amethyst--and shows that not all precious stones have true mystical powers: they must be charged, either naturally or through ritual, with a living deva or angelic presence before they can effect spiritual transformation and physical, mental, and soul healing. Drawing on Hindu, Jewish, pre-Columbian, and Greco-Roman magical traditions with precious stones as well as their use by great initiates of history--including Hildegard von Bingen, Paracelsus, Cornelius Agrippa, Elias Ashmole, Nicholas Flamel, and the Count de Saint Germain--Coquet examines each sacred gem’s effects on the seven facets of the soul as well as their spiritual and therapeutic uses, the meaning of their colors, their influences on the chakras, and their use in amulets, talismans, and other magical tools. Illuminating techniques of invoking spirits into gemstones and reports of the power to enlarge diamonds at will, stones that produce anesthesia, and the use of gem medicines in India, Coquet reveals that while gems can influence our physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, without daily work toward a gem’s corresponding virtue, even a consecrated stone will have no effect, for the most beautiful gems are within.
