Richard Riccia (Rixey, Ricksey) was living in Truro Parish, Prince William County, Virginia in 1740 where he purchased 220 acres of land. "This tract of 220 acres of land, purchased by Richard Riccia, was sold to Richard Rixey, Jr. and his wife Elizabeth in 1791, and it definately stated in the deed that he was the son of Richard Riccia."--Page 29 "The exact date of Richard Riccia's death is not known, but it evidently occurred in 1786 as under date of September 5, 1786, in will book G, page 354 is found an inventory of his personal property ..."--Page 31.
