Edmund Ingalls, son of Robert, was born about 1598 in Skirbeck, Lincolnshire, England. He immigrated in 1628 to Salem, Massachusetts and with his brother, Francis, founded Lynn, Massachusetts in 1629. He married Ann, fathered nine children, and died in 1648.

Edmund Ingalls (1598-1648), son of Robert and grandson of Henry Ingalls, emigrated in 1628 from England to Salem, Massachusetts, and settled at Lynn, Massachusetts in 1629. Jacob Ingalls (1764-1841), direct descendant in the sixth generation, served in the Revolutionary War, married Susannah Goff in 1793, and moved from Rehoboth, Massachusetts to Otsego County, New York. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Wisconsin, California and elsewhere.
