On a hot summer’s day, three young siblings struggle to find something fun to do. They’re sick of playing dolls, so when their brother suggests they have an adventure in the woods, his two sisters agree happily. The Fairy Hunt! is about Mina, Buddy, and Eve packing snacks and taking a walk deeper than ever before into the woods behind their home in search of fairies. What they discover is a world of magic and wonder, where they learn about the connections between nature, their new special friends, and themselves. An adventure indeed! The author hopes readers come away with a natural sense of wonder, and take notice of the magic that can be found all around them if they only pause a moment to see it. About the Author Melanie Gerndt is a wife and mother of three. The children in the story are based on her own three children, and it’s a story she wrote for them on a summer day while the family was camping. Gerndt has always loved fairies and has often told her children stories about the fairies that live in a little glen in the woods. They have bumblebee races and drink dewdrop tea with honey cakes. The magic of childhood, in Gerndt’s opinion, should always have fairies. She has quite a few hobbies. When she finds a few moments in between work and being a mom, Gerndt loves to cook, read, crochet, paint, draw, and write. She loves the outdoors and the magic of nature. She loves animals and so do all her children. The Gerndt family has more than its share of pets—cats, dogs, and fish so far.

Shelly and Kiki tell Echo that fairies aren’t real, but Aunt Crabella says she believes they are. And what’s the harm in believing? When Echo can’t seem to catch the Hairy Fairy, she becomes determined to figure out if fairies really do exist! She teams up with Shelly and Kiki and makes “Fairy Juice” (via a recipe from Rocky Ridge) in order to go on a fairy hunt on Trident City’s majestic Sperm Whale Mountain. But what will they find on their fairy hunt? Will all of Echo’s magical fairy dreams come true?
Over the hill, all outta ducks to give, and suddenly life is looking up . . .even if you're living with a ghost and fighting off werewolves.Moving back to Savannah changed my life in all the best ways. New job. New friends. As far from my ex-husband as possible. I didn't count on the Shadow World intensifying its hold on my life. Color me surprised, when a new job lands in my lap watching over a fairy ring. Worth ten times what I'd make anywhere else, it seems too good to be true. I take it anyway. And that's when things get weird. Spells are cast on my friends that seems to make them lose their marbles. I've got a Bigfoot baking in my kitchen. And a skeleton is quickly becoming my go-to guy. Which is silly because the eye candy strutting around in front of me is drool worthy. (I'm looking at you, Crash. Really looking 0_0) Nothing in Savannah is what it seems, and the magic and undercurrents of this city are pulling me onto a dangerous path. But with a Fae Queen begging my help, and the darkness closing in, I can only do one thing. Pop a couple Advil, and kick some serious ducking butt. ******************************* *****************************" If you love Patricia Briggs, Kelley Armstrong, KF Breene, Shayne Silvers, Dannika Dark, Jana DeLeon, Kevin Hearne or Ilona Andrews, you won't want to miss ANY of Mayer's books!"
Faeries...The Fae...The Stuff of Bedtime Stories and Fables Sometimes the faerie tales are true. Sometimes, they are a warning. For a hundred generations the fae have been locked away from the world. In the cold. The Outside. They have faded out of sight and mind, into myth and folklore. But now the barriers are weakening, and the fae push against the tattered remnants of the Wyrde as they seek a way to return. As a new religion spreads across the world, sweeping the old ways and beliefs away before it, a war-like people look across the frozen ocean towards the shores of Anlan, hungry for new lands. War is coming, even as the Wyrde of the Droos is fading. Only by realizing the truth lost in a child's tale will the world hope to withstand the wild hunt.
