This book is for seekers of inner peace and happiness. It offers guidance and peer support for those already walking the spiritual path or considering it. Meditation is a natural state and the birthright of every human being. Recent scientific research has shown meditation and a spiritual way of life increases happiness. I began writing this book after parts of it were revealed to me during my morning meditations. For the past eight years, my morning meditations have guided and inspired my writing. Anyone who wants the power, peace and love of his/her Spiritual Heart can find it. Real and lasting change for the better, on the personal and societal level, only happens when individuals experience internal transformation. This book offers a harmonious and expansive view of our identity, meaning and position in life and in the universe. It describes our great potential for spiritual opening and harmonization: We can become fearless, harmonious, loving and happy beings. A chapter on the expression of spirituality in creative arts as well as on health effects of meditation on disease prevention and healing of some diseases are also included.
JUST LOVE contains everything, the entire universe. It describes a Love that has been addressed before - after all, there is essentially nothing new to add to the wisdom of the Holy Scriptures of both East and West - yet the way this Love is addressed is new and speaks to us at the beginning of the 21st century in a way that touches us deeply. JUST LOVE is expressed by someone who not only knows about the all-pervading, all-sustaining Divine force that forms the creation of the Universe, but who is completely one with it. JUST LOVE is the first major book written with words directly from Sri Swami Vishwananda. It contains a collection of 52 talks expressed by a fully realized soul to enable each and everyone to attain the Divine Light in a simple way. Sri Swami Vishwanada's message is simple: Just Love. Yes, just love. Love is all there is. Love is all you have to do; the rest will take care of itself.

Gaven Kerr provides the first book-length study of St. Thomas Aquinas's much neglected proof for the existence of God in De Ente et Essentia Chapter 4. He offers a contemporary presentation, interpretation, and defense of this proof, beginning with an account of the metaphysical principles used by Aquinas and then describing how they are employed within the proof to establish the existence of God. Along the way, Kerr engages contemporary authors who have addressed Aquinas's or similar reasoning. The proof developed in the De Ente is, on Kerr's reading, independent of many of the other proofs in Aquinas's corpus and resistant to the traditional classificatory schemes of proofs of God. By applying a historical and hermeneutical awareness of the philosophical issues presented by Aquinas's thought and evaluating such philosophical issues with analytical precision, Kerr is able to move through the proof and evaluate what Aquinas is saying, and whether what he is saying is true. By means of an analysis of one of Aquinas's earliest proofs, Kerr highlights a foundational argument that is present throughout the much more commonly studied Thomistic writings, and brings it to bear within the context of analytical philosophy, showing its relevance to the contemporary reader.
Emma's parents think she is dead. The forest greeted Emma with startling force. The voices came in a dream at first, commanding her against her will deeper into the forest. Nicola should never have stepped out to buy that pack of cigarettes because the man she discovers in her living room when she returns is not the adorable, straightforward, devoted Jonathan with whom she has been sharing her life and flat for the past six years. That Jonathan would never have simply, unilaterally, decided that she should, as he abruptly put it, 'move out.' So a shocked, grief-stricken Nicola packs her bags and sets out bravely on the bumpy course that will take her fro the hellish end of an affair to the essence of the thing. With her comic timing and tender vision the brilliant Madeleine St John, author of The Women in Black, takes us into the changing nature of the human heart.
