The pair is thrown together by supernatural forces, and Tom learns that Laura is the gifted daughter of an ancient family who lives in the nearby enclave of Chapel Hollow. The Eartheart Experience PLAN-ET . . . A Plan called EarthearT The Eartheart Experience is a philosophy transcending all that separate us. Based upon our two most basic, essential elements our EARTH, our home EXternal and our HEART, our home INternal, these two "common denominators" to every one of us, create a platform for us to all "come together" in a spirit of love and beauty emanating from Divine Expression. It is not happenstance, nor coincidence, that these two most important elements to our existence happen to have exact same characters, in exact same sequence, with exact same numerological value. It is not mere happenstance that Matthew 12: verse 40, of the Holy Bible, King James Version quotes Jesus saying; "As Jonas lay in the belly of the whale for three days and three nights so shall the Son of man lay in the HEART of the EARTH." E ""A ""R ""T ""H ""E ""A ""R ""T "The Eartheart Experience" points us homeward toward our spiritual, mystical essence. This philosophical perspective gives glimpse to an underlying "Truth Reality" showing us there is more than meets the eye in life. The EarthearT Experience is an expression of the flow of "grace". This "FLOW" expresses a "FLOWer" of higher consciousness and greater awareness. A deeper level of reality is that we all come from the same Source of Life. It is this Source of Life that awakens each of us into every new day. This is a common truth for us all. How real do YOU want to get? The answer determines how well we get to know ourselves. A must do! "The EARTH is our HOME . . .HOME is where the HEART is." A "perfect alignment" for ENLIGHTENED ILLUMINATED LIVING. YOUniverse is the book. God is the author. Charles Lallo
In his introduction, Philip Bryden says that Canadians can be proud of their commitment to the protection of rights and liberties in the Charter. Canada, he believes, is a better place to live then it would be otherwise. Nevertheless, as the essays in this book reveal, the case in favour of the Charter is not simple or one-sided.
Why do citizens in pluralist democracies disagree collectively about the very values they agree on individually? This provocative book highlights the inescapable conflicts of rights and values at the heart of democratic politics. Based on interviews with thousands of citizens and political decision makers, the book focuses on modern Canadian politics, investigating why a country so fortunate in its history and circumstances is on the brink of dissolution. Taking advantage of new techniques of computer-assisted interviewing, the authors explore the politics of a wide array of issues, from freedom of expression to public funding of religious schools to government wiretapping to antihate legislation, analyzing not only why citizens take the positions they do but also how easily they can be talked out of them. In the process, the authors challenge a number of commonly held assumptions about democratic politics. They show, for example, that political elites do not constitute a special bulwark protecting civil liberties; that arguments over political rights are as deeply driven by commitment to the master values of democratic politics as by failure to understand them; and that consensus on the rights of groups is inherently more fragile than on the rights of individuals.
Examining past and present policies on immigration, current arguments regarding the evolution of the Canadian constitutional system and the continuing search for new definitions of citizenship; this book looks at the components of citizenship in Canada and the diversity of attitudes.
