This book says that life will always put you in different situations to deal with and gives you the choice to accept them positively and fight OR keep ignoring them and make excuses for your failures and blaming others including God. But when you understand your origin, your true self, then you will realize that the things you want in your life are already yours. You just have to discover your own self and connect with the Supreme Soul. The main highlights of this book are • Why are people so corrupt? • Why do people think that pain and suffering are for them, but not happiness? • How many Gods do we have? 1 or more than 10,000? • How does our mind play games with us? • What are the ways to control the thoughts created by our own mind? • Is there a spiritual way to deal with the different situations in life? • Why are both spiritual and material life important for us? Imbalance creates problems. The presence of the soul is the proof of the existence of spiritual life on this planet. Your body is made up of matter. So if you focus on your body, mind and ego only, then what you will get is stress and anxiety. If you focus only on your soul, then also you will feel loneliness. The best is to create a balance of both. How to create this balance is what you will deeply discover in this book. If you apply the knowledge of “The choice is yours” then you can achieve what many would regard as impossible.

A New York Times Bestseller! An extraordinary look at what it means to grow old and a heartening guide to well-being, Happiness Is a Choice You Make weaves together the stories and wisdom of six New Yorkers who number among the “oldest old”— those eighty-five and up. In 2015, when the award-winning journalist John Leland set out on behalf of The New York Times to meet members of America’s fastest-growing age group, he anticipated learning of challenges, of loneliness, and of the deterioration of body, mind, and quality of life. But the elders he met took him in an entirely different direction. Despite disparate backgrounds and circumstances, they each lived with a surprising lightness and contentment. The reality Leland encountered upended contemporary notions of aging, revealing the late stages of life as unexpectedly rich and the elderly as incomparably wise. Happiness Is a Choice You Make is an enduring collection of lessons that emphasizes, above all, the extraordinary influence we wield over the quality of our lives. With humility, heart, and wit, Leland has crafted a sophisticated and necessary reflection on how to “live better”—informed by those who have mastered the art.
Whether we're buying a pair of jeans, ordering a cup of coffee, selecting a long-distance carrier, applying to college, choosing a doctor, or setting up a 401(k), everyday decisions—both big and small—have become increasingly complex due to the overwhelming abundance of choice with which we are presented. As Americans, we assume that more choice means better options and greater satisfaction. But beware of excessive choice: choice overload can make you question the decisions you make before you even make them, it can set you up for unrealistically high expectations, and it can make you blame yourself for any and all failures. In the long run, this can lead to decision-making paralysis, anxiety, and perpetual stress. And, in a culture that tells us that there is no excuse for falling short of perfection when your options are limitless, too much choice can lead to clinical depression. In The Paradox of Choice, Barry Schwartz explains at what point choice—the hallmark of individual freedom and self-determination that we so cherish—becomes detrimental to our psychological and emotional well-being. In accessible, engaging, and anecdotal prose, Schwartz shows how the dramatic explosion in choice—from the mundane to the profound challenges of balancing career, family, and individual needs—has paradoxically become a problem instead of a solution. Schwartz also shows how our obsession with choice encourages us to seek that which makes us feel worse. By synthesizing current research in the social sciences, Schwartz makes the counter intuitive case that eliminating choices can greatly reduce the stress, anxiety, and busyness of our lives. He offers eleven practical steps on how to limit choices to a manageable number, have the discipline to focus on those that are important and ignore the rest, and ultimately derive greater satisfaction from the choices you have to make.
The book will help you get yourself on a journey that should bring success and satisfaction giving you valuable techniques to stay focused. It gives you some anecdotal experiences and great ideas in every chapter; its a step by step guide to your personal success. In todays ever-changing world, success should never be left to a matter of chance; Your Success is down to Your choice. Your Success will only come from inside you, from your visions and dreams; your success comes from within, that burning fi re in your belly that you can turn into a raging inferno. By identifying this, the future that youre after for you and your family will be there to grasp. With Geoffreys own creative visualisation and natural ability in motivating others, as well as having always walked the walk not talked the walk and by leading from the front, he now empowers others to do the same by releasing their full potential and drawing out their own dormant and natural abilities. Over time, with patience and their own innate ability, as well as their will to want to succeed; he creates results in people.
